KeyGO has been designed and developed to bypass the advanced encryption layers found in modern vehicles. It uses an array of servers to generate a duplicate of the original key, allowing the installation of a remote starter without having to give up a key. The advantage is that this feature allows you to use one original key and the server to configure the bypass in the vehicle. All KeyGO-compatible firmware are clearly indicated in the function list of each vehicle search result page and will also appear on the flash page. Any first-time user must re-register to gain access to KeyGO, and some additional information will be required to complete the registration process, such as your Directed account number and store name. KeyGO requires an XKLoader. Refer to page 7 of this guide for instructions on how to program features using KeyGO.

7 Module Programming Page 7 Refer to the LED Diagnostics section on pages - for more information and for troubleshooting purposes. Important Make all the required connections to the vehicle, as described in the wiring diagram(s) found in this guide, and double check to ensure everything is correct prior to moving onto the next step. Warning! To take advantage of advanced features, you must use XpressVIP.5 (and higher) or the Directechs Mobile app. Flashing a module using your computer:. Connect the interface module to your computer using the XKLoader.. Go to using Internet Explorer, and select the Flash Module button.. Follow the instructions to select your vehicle, installation type, and configure your options.. Once you have configured the firmware options, click on the FLASH button. Flashing a module using your smartphone or tablet. Connect the interface module to your XKLoader.. Launch the Directechs Mobile app on your smartphone or tablet.. Select FLASH YOUR MODULE and follow the on screen instructions. When the flashing operation is successful, you can proceed with the programming instructions below. DD Installation If required for your installation, connect the 0-pin, -pin and -pin harnesses to the module, then connect the -pin DD harness. OR WW Installation If required for your installation, connect the 0-pin and -pin harnesses to the module, then connect the -pin harness to the module. th st st DD 0-pin DD 0-pin rd nd rd nd -pin -pin -pin -pin Wait until the LED turns ON solid red. Note: To skip the transponder programming, press the IPB 5 times. The LED will turn ON solid orange then proceed to step. Solid Turn the key to the ON position. The LED will flash orange, then green. Note: If transponder programming was skipped, the LED Key IN turns ON solid orange for secs then shuts OFF once the module is successfully programmed without bypass. You have completed the module programming sequence. OFF ON START & Orange & Green Start the vehicle by turning the key. Wait until LED flashes orange slowly. Key IN OFF ON START & Orange Turn the key to the OFF position and remove it from the ignition. Disconnect the module and complete the KeyGO programming. Key OUT Remove the DBALL from the vehicle and reconnect it to your computer. The Directechs web site will automatically recognize that you are moving onto the second phase of the programming sequence. Click on Submit KeyGO Request. OFF IGN START

8 Module Programming Page 8 8 Once the configuration is completed, reconnect the DBALL to the vehicle. The LED turns ON solid green for seconds. You have successfully completed the module programming sequence. Solid x secs Module Reset A module reset will erase the module programming only (bypass, convenience and vehicle detection). All the settings configured on the module using the web config tool will remain untouched. OR DD Installation If required for your installation, connect the 0-pin, -pin & -pin harnesses to the module. Press and hold the programming button, then connect the -pin DD harness. WW Installation If required for your installation, connect the 0-pin & -pin harnesses to the module. Press and hold the programming button, then connect the -pin harness to the module. th 5 st st DD 0-pin DD 0-pin rd nd th nd th rd -pin -pin -pin -pin Wait seconds until the LED turns ON solid orange then release the programming button. The LED then turns ON solid red. & & Solid Release Solid Hard Reset Warning Against Executing a Hard Reset! A hard reset will revert the flashed firmware back to its default settings. Depending on the installation, some settings (such as RFTD and DD options) may have to be reconfigured. See the Feature & Option List section of this guide. OR DD Installation If required for your installation, connect the 0-pin, -pin & -pin harnesses to the module. Press and hold the programming button, then connect the -pin DD harness. WW Installation If required for your installation, connect the 0-pin & -pin harnesses to the module. 9 Feature & Option List Page 9 It is recommended to configure all the features and options listed below using the configuration tool found on the module flashing page on The web offers more options; however, manual configuration of the features is possible using the information on this page. * Default option Feature Operation / Option Description. No RF Output* Module is connected to a remote starter using a standard installation. RFTD Module is connected to an XL0 using an RSR or RXT installation (when. RFTD Output Output Type available).. SmartStart Module is connected to SmartStart using an RSR or RXT installation (when available). Unlock Driver. Driver priority* Unlocks only the driver door when the button is first pressed, and unlocks all doors when it is pressed a second time within 5 seconds. Priority. All Unlocks all doors when the button is first pressed.. Disabled The OEM alarm will not be controlled by the interface upon remote start. No disarm or arm command will be executed at the beginning or end of the sequence; it must be controlled by the Remote Starter.. Safelock* Smart OEM Alarm Control will behave like a standard Safelock feature on a remote starter. It will unlock at the beginning of the sequence, and relock after start and shutdown. Smart OEM Alarm Control. Enabled* Smart OEM Alarm Control will synchronize with the OEM alarm so that it will disarm and rearm the vehicle in the remote start sequence, only when required. Smart OEM Alarm Control will monitor the alarm and door lock status to detect if the disarm or rearm is required. If the vehicle is unlocked or is not equipped with factory alarm, the disarm/rearm will not be executed. Brake Status. Type *. Type Depending on the origin of the vehicle, it could have one of two Brake Status types with the default setting as Type. If under a remote start condition the brake does not shut the vehicle down, program the Brake Status as Type.

10 Feature Programming Page 0 To enter feature programming routine - Turn the ignition ON, then OFF. - Within 5 seconds, press and HOLD the programming button until the LED turns ON orange (after seconds). Release the Programming button. - The LED will flash green once slowly to indicate the feature number is. After a short delay, the LED flashes red rapidly to indicate the current option of feature (i.e. x green followed by x red indicates feature is set to option ). The flashing sequence will repeat until a new command is entered. Changing feature options - Press the lock/arm or unlock/disarm button on aftermarket transmitter to change the option of the selected feature. - The LED flashes red rapidly the number of times equal to the current option number. After a short delay, the LED flashes green slowly the number of times to indicate the current feature. The flashing sequence will repeat until a new command is entered. Accessing another feature - Press and release the programming button a number of times to advance from the current feature to the next desired feature. - The LED flashes green slowly the number of times equal to the feature number. After a short delay, the LED flashes red rapidly to indicate the current option of the current feature. The flashing sequence will repeat until a new command is entered. When the maximum number of features or options is reached, the LED will start flashing again from the first feature or option. Once a feature is programmed - Other features can be programmed. - The feature programming can be exited. Programming Button Exiting feature programming - No activity for 0 seconds; after 0 seconds, the LED will turn ON orange for seconds to confirm the end of the programming sequence. OR - Press and HOLD the programming button for seconds. After seconds, the LED will turn ON orange for seconds to confirm the end of the programming sequence.
