2 Why build a Hive Monitor? To learn more about your bees and how their hive environment is controlled. Compare behaviour between different colonies/strains of bees What temps are various areas of the brood nest controlled to? Drones, workers, queen cells, larvae, capped brood etc. Does hive temp/humidity change as outside conditions vary? How long does it take for the hive to re-adjust after an inspection?
