2 TouchwooDesign is a young and dynamic hi-tech company who runs a workshop specializing in the computerized development and design of wooden products, for purposes and markets as diverse as arts & crafts, education, games, display and decoration, furniture and more. hello Upon demand, the digital files containing our unique designs can be sent to the laser cutting machine for production at any time. The machine cuts the wooden board with surgical precision, to produce the puzzle-like pieces out of which the final 3D product is easily assembled, without the need for glue or nails. Our products are made of natural and environmentally friendly materials, which can be easily recycled. Our products are delivered in a convenient flat package, which can be easily shipped anywhere in the world as a unique gift for any age. The finished items can be of educational and creative value: they can be painted and assembled for fun with friends and family. They can also serve decorative purposes or be of sentimental value. Some can stand on their own, or serve as a basis for building a collection by gradually adding other items. Our company has the tools and the unique ability to smartly produce diverse wooden products according to customer specifications be it a wooden brand-specific packaging box to enhance the image of your product and boost your sales and profits, or be it a very specific wooden item to serve your unique personal demands and purposes. Both will arrive as a flat wooden board, form which you will easily assemble the final product, without the need for glue or nails. TouchwooDesign is actively involved in the community. We took it upon ourselves to provide employment to disadvantaged members of society and to people with special needs. We encourage them to take part in our production, and help them advance themselves within the society. Currently our products are made and packaged with the help of youth from Susan s House in Jerusalem a unique project, which allows young people at risk to find their place in society through art, work and personal initiative.

17 More about us TouchwooDesign was created as a concept a few years ago by Mr. Assaf Goldstein and Mr. Ofir Baruochi both professional designers, graduates of the industrial-design department at the Hadassah Academic College in Jerusalem. The two spent nights alongside their work, developing and perfecting their ideas for diverse wooden products, especially for children. These products could be assembled at home simply and easily, without the need for glue or nails, using the smart assembly method the two have developed. In late 2010 Mr. Assaf Goldstein and Mr. Ofir Baruochi founded TouchwooDesign, and made the vision on which they labored for years a solid business reality. When the two were joined by Mr. Yuval Kafry an economic counsellor specializing in business development and entrepreneurship. Mr. Kafri is a graduate of the Department of Economics at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, majoring in business administration. Mr. Kafri has an active part in the founding of the Company s operations, as well as in shaping and developing its business model. During 2012 TouchwooDesign was awarded a prize from the Dan David foundation for a unique business idea and its implementation. This allowed the company to open the studio in Jerusalem where its products are designed and produced. Currently TouchwooDesign sells its products in Israel and abroad, while continuing the development of its business and its products in various markets. The company is equally committed to its involvement with the disadvantaged members of the community and people with special needs, and to helping their integration in its production processes.
