1 Stephenson Visit , During this visit to our customer in Harrisburg we went over the January issues and documented several new concerns. These items are listed in the meeting notes page and have power points to show the improvements that we have made. These items will be shared with them on our next visit.

Meeting Agenda: Time Topic Leader Deliverable 9:00 Meet Facilitator Review the issues & each member provides resolution to the issues. 10:00 Wrap-up & Convene All Action Items: Item # Model Customer Comment(s) Work Station Found 1 NBT 50/55 Would like to know what kind of Customer splices we have in the carrier location, harness. No specific issues were Harrisburg, indicated at this time. PA 2 NBT 50/55 The hydraulic hoses at the back of the boom are pressing down on the wiring harness across the top of the swivel when the boom is at 70 deg and operating off the back of the unit. The hoses create an S and push against / pinch which wears thru the harness over the course of a year. Customer location, Harrisburg, PA Assigned To Due Date Deliverable Action Taken F1 Team 4/14/14 Report on carrier harness splices. F1 Team 4/14/14 Investigate & determine what actions can be taken concerning the length & routing of the hoses and wire(s) the customer mentioned. Same ultrasonic splices are in the T- box harness as the turret harness is the part number. Both harnesses are made by Industrial Harness in Shippensburg, PA *Pictures taken as the issue is being re created. Hoses do come in contact with harness wires when the boom is elevated to 70 + degrees. Electrical wires have been re routed to the back of the swivel. Now the left side of the swivel does not Page 1 5/12/2014

3 have any wires that the boom tele hoses can come in contact with. *Visual work instruction has been updated so this operation will be consistent among all assemblers. *QI 28,090 has been submitted to change the direction of elbow #1 to allow the harness to be directed off the back of the swivel. 3 NBT 50/55 & 60 Bolts in the side plate of the hoist; both main & aux have grade 5 bolts that had to be changed to grade 8 after breaking. (There are 8 bolts). Customer has experienced this also in the NBT 40 model. PN for the NBT 50 hoist is for both the main & aux. Customer location, Harrisburg, PA F1 Team 4/14/14 Investigate the bolts used in each hoist & determine if they are adequate or need to be upgraded. Change was made to change the planetary gear fasteners. This change was from a grade 5 to a grade 8 bolt. At the time the hoist had 6 bolts that needed to be replaced which were changing them from grade 5 to grade 8. This was addressed in PIP N dated Jan Another Page 2 5/12/2014

4 4 NBT 50/55 & All All Would like to know if the NBT 60 turret wiring harness has the same upgrades as the NBT 50 turret wiring harness. Doesn t want touch up paint where it does not belong VPDI check list doesn t match the CDI 7 NBT 55 & 60 A2B cable strain relief pulling out. Customer location. Harrisburg, PA Customer location. All NBT 50 & 60 hoists at Shady Grove have grade 8 bolts in them F1 Team 4/14/14 Investigate the turret harness Both wiring harnesses were upgraded on the same ECO The date this became F1 Team F1 Team 4/25/14 Check for paint overspray & drips throughout cranes 4/25/14 Update VPDI & CDI F3 Team 4/25/14 Ensure product is coming in functional & per print effective is Jan Added check to end of the line quality gate in the paint line & have informed all employees on both shifts in the shift communication meeting. This is currently being turned over to the Quality Specialist in F1. Updates will be made by that person. F3 has done plant wide containment & re seated the cable correctly into the connector. Supplier has been notified. We have received their 8D back. Report # a. Page 3 5/12/2014

7 Stephenson Visit March 2014 The following slide show that the planetary bolt upgrade. The upgrade is from six grade 5 bolts to eight grade 8 bolts.

8 Initially the bolts for the planetary gear shaft were grade 5. PIP N upgraded the six bolts to grade 8. Then the number of bolts was increased to eight with the grade 8 remaining.

9 Stephenson Visit March 2014 The following slides show that the hoses at the back of the boom come in contact with the wiring harness on the swivel when the boom is elevated to 70+ degrees.

15 Both cables are now routed to the back of the swivel

16 Left picture shows that the swivel cables are not going across the swivel to make contact with the hoses. The right picture shows the hoses coming down will not make contact with the cables.

17 Verification on test pad on 4/18/14 with boom at 70 degrees. Hoses from boom are not coming in contact with wires coming out of swivel.
