Inspection Our inspectors are experienced in ship-to-shore cranes, dockside slewing cranes, rubber and rail mounted gantry cranes and overhead travelling cranes. We undertake periodic inspection of mechanical, structural and electrical components and also carry out investigations following collisions or damage, supported by comprehensive reports and repair schedules. Major projects and design Where applications need larger cranes we carry out cost effective structural modifications that can include ship to shore boom extensions, crane heightening, increasing or decreasing rail span and increasing lifting capacity.

5 Maintenance and repairs Our comprehensive services include all brands of cranes, bridges and lock gates, contract maintenance programmes, reactive maintenance, scheduled repairs, repairs following investigation and inspection, structural repairs following collisions and replacement of dockside crane slew rings. Refurbishment and modernisation Services include mechanical, structural and electrical refurbishment of ship-to-shore cranes, dockside slewing cranes, rubber and rail mounted gantry cranes and overhead travelling cranes. We specialise in re-engineering major structural and mechanical components. Our expertise also covers the installation of new electrical control systems, the refurbishment or replacement of gearboxes and drives, plus the replacement of trolleys, driver cabs and access ways.
