6 Hiab product overview Cargotec improves the efficiency of cargo flows by offering handling systems and related services for the loading and unloading of goods. Our daughter brand Hiab is the global market leader in on-road load handling solutions and services. Hiab customer-driven on-road load handling solutions and products are utilised for example in construction sites, forests, industry, waste handling, recycling and by the defence forces. Loader cranes The Hiab Loader Crane product portfolio comprises cranes covering the entire range of loading capacities. Together we define your needs and tailor make the crane to match your requirements in every detail. The lifting capacity of our loader cranes spans from 1 to 90 tonne metres with an outreach of between 2 to over 35 metres. Mid capacity cranes Midsized cranes for demanding chores. The cranes in the Mid Capacity range lift between 10 and 23 tonne metres, making them an excellent choice for solving the rougher and tougher tasks. The wide variety of crane setup provided by the XS concept will always give you an optimal crane configuration, whatever the application. Light capacity cranes Lightweight cranes for easier tasks. Lifting capacity of the cranes in the Light Capacity range falls below 10 tonne metres. Cranes in this range are easily fitted onto most small/medium sized vehicles. Though small, these compact cranes will perform a wide variety of demanding chores with ease. High capacity cranes Powerful cranes for heavy-duty work. Lifting capacity of cranes in the High Capacity range exceeds 23 tonne metres. 7 Demountables The basic idea behind the demountable is that one truck can perform different tasks by using different body and container types. The Hiab Multilift demountables, which include hooklifts, cablelifts and skiploaders, have become global market leaders, because of their excellent reliability and productivity. Thanks to the wide selection of features and options, the products truly meet the customers' application and operating environment needs. Power range hooklifts The new premium XR Power range introduces a revolutionary control system for demountables. The state-of-the-art control system offers unparalleled reliability and many optional extras. Light range hooklifts The modular XR Light range hooklifts represent a major breakthrough in demountable body handling technology. This pioneering, user-oriented concept is based on a sliding hook mechanism, an innovative new single-plate sub frame and ingenious lifting frame designs. Cablelifts Hiab Multilift CLF cablelifts low installation height and light construction stand for unparalleled performance and high net payload. Thanks to the unique hydraulic solutions, the operating winch and tipping unit work at the same time, even with a full load. Medium range hooklifts Hiab Multilift Medium range hooklifts for t GVW trucks are power packages in their own right. The exceptional low weight / high strength ratio enables larger payloads, enhances the versatility of the vehicle and maximises its usage. Skiploaders The Hiab Multilift skiploader is specially designed to provide rapid turn-around times on skip handling operations. Its ability to pick up a container horizontally with no lifting angle and to lift it over obstacles, such as fences, makes it a very fast and effective solution. 7

8 Forestry and recycling cranes Forestry cranes are used at the beginning of the wood processing value chain: in logging and in timber transporting. The product line covers robust cranes used in logging trucks. Additionally, the cranes are used in the recycling industry and as stand-alone industrial units. With grapple sizes ranging from small to large industrial grapples, there is sure to be the right size for every crane application. Industrial cranes Industrial cranes from Hiab Jonsered are characterised by high lifting capability, long service life and excellent control characteristics. Since the location and application determine the most suitable model in each case, Hiab is more than happy to provide assistance during the design phase of the project. Timber truck cranes Hiab offers an extensive range of crane models for all kinds of work from handling cut-to-length timber to loading full-length stems. These cranes are designed for hard work, are built to last and take up only a small amount of load space. All cranes have an ergonomically designed control position and can be fitted with a cabin, which is available as an accessory. Recycling cranes Hiab Jonsered cranes are the number one in handling scrap metal and recycled waste, where power, accuracy and durability is required. Truck-mounted forklifts Truck-mounted forklifts are carried on the back of a truck or a trailer, ensuring no loss of load space.
