Our company s history dates back to the 1930s when Jules Fulton and Bob Hogan joined forces to form a company that is now synonymous with roading in New Zealand. However, the company builds and maintains more than just roads it also looks after ports, airports and all types of civil infrastructure critical to keeping the country functioning well. 5 Engineering Solving Otago s Engineering Problems The Fulton Hogan engineering department works for construction companies around the country, providing support, dealing with issues, solving problems and finding the best way to do any size job. From sporting fixtures, concerts and the annual Santa parade to roadworks and the inevitable vehicle crashes, our teams work alongside you to control traffic and keep the region s communities moving safely. 7 Workshop Repairing and Maintaining Otago s Vehicles Fulton Hogan operates two fully equipped workshops for vehicle servicing one in Fairfield and one in Balclutha. As well as keeping the company s hundreds of trucks and heavy vehicles on the road, the workshops also service privately owned or fleet vehicles, from cars to heavy machinery. We are warrant of fitness certified and offer the only external NZTA-approved inspection site for COFS in Dunedin. Our twice-weekly service can be booked ahead of time, ensuring vehicles are not kept waiting. Two fully equipped field service vehicles and 24- hour emergency service means vehicles can be repaired no matter where they are. Many of our customers have been with us for years so we know exactly what they need, getting the job done quickly and cost-effectively. Our 12x7m2 industrial heated paint booth and fully equipped panel and paint preparation facility allow us to provide a quality colour matching and painting service that is second to none. We also pick up and deliver vehicles, no matter what their size.
