2 AUCTIONEERS PREFACE Nick Champion is pleased to have been instructed to hold this dispersal sale on behalf of the Executors of the late John Frank Edwards who spent over 50 years of his working life at The Fern Farm. The sale offers a diverse range of both modern and older well-kept farm machinery and equipment, together with big bale wheat straw and antique furniture & chattels. The sale will also include some additional entries from local farms/estates including 2 genuine Fordson tractors and an excellent Landrover Defender 90. Purchaser Registration:- All purchasers must pre-register their details at the sales office and collect a buyers number & if not known to the auctioneers must provide proof of identity (photo driving licence/passport) before the auction starts. Viewing:- Friday 26 th Oct pm to 4.00pm or morning of sale from 8.00am. VAT:- VAT at 20% will be added to the hammer price of all farming lots unless otherwise stated at the time of sale. Buyers Premium:- 6% (inclusive of VAT) with a minimum charge of 3 per lot will be added to the bid price of all agricultural lots and 15% (inclusive of VAT) to the bid price of all household chattels with a minimum charge of 3 per lot. Terms:- Payment on sale day by cash or Debit Card. Cheques will only be accepted from regular clients and from customers who have made prior arrangements with Nick Champion Auctioneers. Credit cards are not accepted. Commission Bids:- The auctioneers will execute commission bids for purchasers unable to attend the sale subject to proof of identity and funding. Liability & Clearance:- All lots become the responsibility of the purchaser at the fall of the hammer and are to be cleared within 7 days. A loader will be available on site on sale day.
