6 OPERATION AND TECHNOLOGY. MAKING ADDITIVE SPREADING ACCURATE AND EASY. The BS PROFI is the perfect solution for applying binder accurately and evenly on non-load-bearing surfaces. EASY AND SIMPLE TO FILL. When filling the BS PROFI you notice straightaway: this is a special spreader. The 3 filler neck which comes as standard features a pressure limiting valve, for easier use. The filler neck is easily adaptable to local standards. An audible signal indicates the filling level and the large tank vent pipe protects against overpressure in the tank during filling. The BS PROFI is also available (optionally) with a second filler neck on the right side of the tank for work on confined construction sites, where it s not possible to turn the machine. The spreader is simply and conveniently controlled and operated from the driver s seat via a control terminal. After entering the flow rate and material density, the target quantity is shown in kg/m2. This means the driver can monitor the spread quantity. Key benefit: the spread quantity also depends on the spreader speed, and optimal precision is maintained even when losing traction. Wheel sensors measure the travel speed, aligning the spread quantity to the target setting. EASY TO OPERATE. 6

7 CONVEYING WITH POWER. The BS PROFI features an open, powerful conveyor system that prevents the binder bridging. The conical design of the hopper ensures maximum stability and guarantees feed to the conveyor system. The conveying speed is computer-controlled, which prevents formation of blockages caused by excess material. can be individually switched on and off. For applying binder for stabilisation or cold recycling: Apart from the precise spreading quantity, the key is smooth application. The more accurately the binder is applied, the higher the quality of the recycler mix result which delivers uniform load bearing capacity in the soil. In the case of BS PROFI, two worm shafts spread the binder left and right across the entire spread width. 8 FLEXIBILITY. A SPECIALIST FOR STANDARD TRACTORS. The BS PROFI is very flexible in terms of the host tractor. This unit can be towed by nearly all standard tractors. With available power to tow a binder spreader up to 19-tonnes on site. Otherwise, no optional equipment is required. The only requirement is a standard trailer hitch and PTO shaft connection. A choice of cardan shafts are optionally available for different tractors. 9 DRIVE AND EQUIPMENT. STRONG. STABLE. Stability and safety are vital for a binder spreader. In this respect the BS PROFI is 100 percent dependable. Both in terms of the drive and the range of safety features. THE DRIVE SYSTEM. The BS PROFI has a powerful, reliable drive system mechanically coupled to the tractor. The closed hydraulic circuit can be operated even if a tractor has no hydraulic connection for secondary equipment. This also means that binder metering is not affected by the tractor. Large tyres provide safe, stable forward drive even on tough terrain. The binder spreader hydraulic tank is sufficiently large that a radiator is not required. This means high availability and no cleaning is required. A jack stand and wheel chock ensure the unit stays safely in parking position. If the unit cannot be filled on site no problem. The binder spreader is equipped with vehicle lights for road traffic which means it can qualify for a local licence. So the unit can be driven short distances on public roads. RELIABILITY COMES AS STANDARD. We have integrated safety into the BS PROFI as standard. The brakes are operated hydraulically by the tractor using a two-circuit brake system. 9
