AHTA Inspect and reinstall speedometer drive gear, driven gear, vehicle speed sensor (VSS), and retainers. AHTA Remove, inspect, measure, adjust, and reinstall transaxle final drive pinion gears (spiders), shaft, side gears, side bearings, thrust washers, and case assembly. AHTA Inspect lubrication devices (oil pump or slingers). AHTA Disassemble, service, and reassemble transfer case and components. AHTA12.10 Perform specialized skills and determine necessary actions needed in the engine repair area of automotive service and repair. AHTA Remove and reinstall cylinder heads and gaskets; tighten according to manufacturer's specifications and procedures. AHTA Visually inspect cylinder head(s) for cracks; check gasket surface areas for warpage and leakage; check passage condition. AHTA Inspect valve springs for squareness and free height comparison.
