2 What does our FIXED! FAST! Tool Service Program provide? The strength of Ramset has always been its focus on customer service. We regard producing quality long-life tools equally important to providing a dedicated resource to service them. We decided to ask our customers what they regarded as the most important criteria of a good tool service program and the response was unanimous: Tool Turnaround! No surprise really when you consider that tool down time on-site costs money. As a result we have introduced a new service program with a simple objective: FIXED! FAST! FIXED! means a comprehensive standard service on every tool with a set, up-front price and clearly defined quote limit. Our standard service includes a full strip and machine power wash clean of your tool. It also comes with a full service checklist detailing exactly what was done to your tool. By doing this we maximise service intervals of your tool whilst reducing the lifetime running costs. FAST! means your tool is Freighted* from your local Ramset branch or Ramset Distributor directly to our National Service Centre, fixed, and Freighted* back to provide you with the fastest possible tool turnaround time. Generally, this means a consistent tool turnaround time of 5-8 working days, the majority within 5 days from pick-up. Best of all, our new program is easy to access. Customers are responsible for any local freight costs to and from their preferred Ramset Stockist. *With the exception of tools being repaired under warranty each tool repair / service with attract a minimum charge of $ Should the cost of repair / service exceed this amount the $90.00 charge will be absorbed into the full cost. 3 Comprehensive Standard Service Doing quick remove and replace repairs and using non-genuine parts reduces the life of a tool dramatically, worse still it ends up costing more time and money as frequent servicing is required. Our program ensures that a comprehensive service is undertaken with every tool service and we provide a full service checklist outlining all work done to your tool. This maximises the intervals between services and lengthens the life of your tool all leading to reduced down time and running costs. Each standard service package is tailored dependant on the Ramset tool model and has a fixed price. Service details are outlined on the following pages. Quote if Over policy! Our service program has Quote If Over prices set on every tool to maximise tool turnaround time. If whilst doing a standard service we find additional components need replacement and the price of the repair exceeds the Quote If Over price, we will contact you directly and advise you of the total cost of repair. Should you not wish to go ahead with the repair you will be charged the minimum service / repair charge of $90.00 and we will return the tool to you. Free Test and Tag of all Electric Power Tools to AS3760:2010 To minimise the down time of your Ramset power tool we provide complimentary testing and tagging to meet the requirements of AS3760:2010 with our standard service. This not only saves time in getting your tool back in action but covers the user with respect to on-site workplace health and safety requirements. National Service Centre 3 Month Warranty Guarantee on All Repairs Because of our comprehensive standard service we can offer you a 3 month warranty guarantee on all repairs. This entitles you to receive free rectification of any problem that may arise with your tool within 3 months of the service date. This offer excludes general wear and tear. Ramset Loyal Customer Upgrade We have a listed trade-in price for obsolete Ramset tools that allows Ramset users to make a cost effective transition to newer technology. 4 Service Standards What does our FIXED! FAST! Tool Service Program include 'as standard'? Inspection of tool and extensive testing in our purpose built testing facility. This is done prior to service to confirm/identify any faults, and following service, to ensure tool is working correctly. Complete strip down, inspection of all tool components and power wash cleaning of all applicable parts. Like a car, a tool needs to be serviced regularly and properly otherwise it will have a major breakdown sooner rather than later. That is why we completely strip your tool, check all components are working as they should and give them a thorough clean, by that we mean at least a 7 minute machine wash cycle of the stripped components. Re-Machining of the Armature If you replace your car brake pads and don t machine the worn discs not only do your brake pads wear faster but you ll also be up for a costly disc replacement much sooner. In a similar way, carbon brushes wear grooves on your armature and if brushes are simply replaced they will not run evenly on the worn armature. This can lead to the armature overheating and burning out after which a major repair is required. We re-machine the armature to extend its life and to allow even wear of the new brushes, thereby reducing the lifetime running costs of your tool. Full Service Kit replacement with genuine parts The Service Kits used on our electric tool models include replacement of wear and tear parts such as carbon bushes, seals, circlips and o-rings. This extends the life of your tool and maximises service intervals

Simply call the Ramset Customer Service Department on and they will help organise the most efficient way to get your tool to our National Service Centre. It is important to have a Purchase Order (PO) No. ready when you call to ensure no delays occur in servicing your tool. Once your tool is booked-in, you will be provided with a unique TOOL TRACK CODE to allow your tool to be easily tracked through our full service process. If at any stage you wish to check on the progress of your tool, simply contact our Customer Service Department on and quote your TOOL TRACK CODE. Please note it is vitally important your TOOL TRACK CODE is noted and attached to your tool prior to coming in for service to reduce risk of delays.
