1 Table of Contents BASIC INFORMATION The A/C Condenser Is located on the high pressure side of the A/C system. It is mounted directly in front of the radiator where it can receive air flow created by the trucks forward motion and by the engine fan. As refrigerant vapor travels from the compressor through the condenser, a point is reached where condensation occurs. The high pressure liquid refrigerant then travels from the condenser and toward the evaporator. There are various styles and types of condensers used on today s vehicles. Our condensers are of high quality which meets and/or exceeds the O.E.M. requirements. DO NOT FLUSH OK TO FLUSH New Style Parallel Flow Condensers have flat tubes with very small passages for refrigerant flow. This type condenser cannot be flushed and must be replaced if it becomes contaminated with solid debris. Old Style Tube and Fin Condensers have large tubes for refrigerant flow. This type condenser can be flushed if it becomes contaminated with solid debris. 2 Overall Length Core Length B Core Height C (Grill Condenser photo shown) HEIGHT The height of the condenser core is the distance measured along the fin (C). LENGTH Measure the actual core only (B).
