2 MI Band One Piece Some Tips For Pricing Band If you are familiar with band heater pricing you will notice a new format for THINBAND, standard mica band, and MI band pricing. Here are a few tips. 1. To calculate list price: List Price = Base Price + Clamping + Termination + Options. On all band heater pricing pages the base price will be in a table on the left hand page and the clamping, termination, and options will be on the right hand page. Notice that each band heater type is broken down between one piece and two piece heaters. Thus, there is no longer a two piece charge. Also, once the correct page has been found for the applicable heater style, no pages should have to be turned to calculate a price. 2. Base Price In order to eliminate formulas and adders for larger heaters, the base price for most potential heater sizes has already been calculated and put in table form. 3. Clamping This area should make it easier to determine what actual clamping means are available for the particular style heater that is being priced. 4. Termination Because the styles are now broken down into one and two piece constructions, the lead prices for two piece heaters (and MI expand-ables) have been automatically doubled. The special lead location charge has been eliminated. 5. Options In order to eliminate the calculations necessary for notches and oval holes, there is instead a flat charge up to given sizes. Holes (round, square, oval) are considered to have their entire border inside the width of the heater. Notches (round, square, oval) are ones that meet with the perimeter of the heater at some point.
