Special Considerations - The following items are considerations that were used when evaluating this product. USR/CNR indicates investigation to the U.S. and Canadian (Bi-National) Standard for Safety of Information Technology Equipment, Including Electrical Business Equipment, CSA C22.2 No and UL 60950, Third Edition. The equipment is considered: For building-in, Class I (earthed), pluggable Type A, uses detachable power cord, intended for use on a TN power system. The component was submitted by the manufacturer for use in a maximum air ambient of 40 C. Disconnect device - The following part is considered the equipment disconnect device: Appliance Inlet.
12 File E Vol. 1 Sec. 19 Page 6 Issued: Conditions of Acceptability - When installed in the end product, consideration shall be given to the following: 1. This component has been judged on the basis of the required spacings in the Standard for Safety of Information Technology Equipment, Including Electrical Business Equipment, CAN/CSA C22.2 No , UL 60950, Third Edition, which would cover the component itself if submitted for Listing. 2. The products were tested on a 20 A branch circuit. If used on a branch circuit greater than this, additional testing may be necessary. 3. All secondary output circuits are SELV and are not hazardous energy levels except for +12V output level. 4. Magnetic devices transformer T1 employs an electrical insulation system designated Class 130(B) for Models ISO-xxxyz, and ISO-Pxxxyz, where xxx = 500, and designated Class 105(A) for Models ISO-xxxyz, and ISO-Pxxxyz, where xxx = 450, 400, 350, 300, 250, 230, or 200. Magnetic devices transformer T2 employs an electrical insulation system designated Class 105(A), T3 employs an electrical insulation system designated Class 130(B) for all models. 5. Input terminal/connector shall be connected to the supply neutral in the end use. 6. The equipment has been evaluated for use in a Pollution Degree 2 environment. 7. A suitable Electrical and Fire enclosure shall be provided in the end product. 8. The maximum working voltage present is 359 Vrms and 520 Vpk. The electric strength tests in the end product shall be based on this value. 9. Production-Line Dielectric Voltage Withstand (Electric Strength) and Grounding (Protective Earthing) Continuity Tests are being conducted on this power supply. 10. The accessibility of the fan shall be evaluated in the end product. 11. When provided with external AC Power Cord, proper securement of Appliance Inlet shall be considered in the end product.

Internal Wiring - R/C (AVLV2), and R/C (AVLV8) or CN, rated minimum 80 C, 300 V. Marked "VW-1". All wiring routed away from sharp edges and moving parts. Secondary leads are kept secured away from primary circuitry (segregation of secondary leads) by tie-wrapping. Alternatively, tubing is used where segregation not provided. Fan leads shall be sleeved with Tubing/Sleeving. Printed Wiring Board - See Section General for details. Boards rated minimum 105 C. Power Supply Cord - Optional. Detachable, maximum 4.5 m (14.76 ft.) long. Listed, CN, rated minimum 125 V, having a 3/18 AWG (for Models with less than 6 A input current) or 3/16 AWG (for Models with more than 6 A input current), Type SVT or SPT-1 flexible cord. One end terminates with a parallel blade, grounding, Listed, CN, molded-on, attachment plug with a 125 V (NEMA 5-15P) configuration; other end terminates with a molded-on appliance coupler. Alternate - Optional. Detachable, maximum 4.5 m (14.76 ft.) long. Listed, CN, rated minimum 250 V, having a 3/18 AWG (for Models with less than 6 A input current) or 3/16 AWG (for Models with more than 6 A input current), Type SVT or SPT-1 flexible cord. One end terminates with a Tandem blade, grounding, Listed, CN, molded-on, attachment plug with a 250 V (NEMA 6-15P) configuration; other end terminates with a molded-on appliance coupler. Power Supply Level Marking Optional. For CNR Projects, Level 6 may be marked adjacent to Power Supply output rating. Nameplate Marking - Recognized company name or/and File number, E161451, model name and electrical ratings. Date of Manufacture Marking Optional. For CNR Products, the unit shall have a marking which indicates the month and year of manufacture. Coding or serial numbers are acceptable. *
