The same conditions of acceptability as outlined in each individual Report apply under the requirements of CSA Standard C22.2, No. 100 and Standard for Motors with Inherent Overheating Protection, C22.2 No. 77. MARKING REQUIREMENTS: The products that are tabulated below and are intended to be marketed in Canada, shall be marked with UL's specially designated Logo, the Recognized company's name, and the product's identifying number. In addition, the markings in the individual Reports need to be applied. The necessity for a bilingual marking (i.e. English and French) shall be determined by the Recognized company depending upon which Provinces in Canada the product will be marketed. When the product identification is also required in French, the French translation shall be consistent with the English version as described in each individual Section. The month and year of manufacture, at least, shall be marked on each motor in a location accessible without the use of tools. Date coding, serial numbers, or equivalent may be used.

11 File E Vol. 1 Sec. 3 Page 1E Issued: and Report New: ENGINEERING CONSIDERATIONS (NOT FOR FIELD REPRESENTATIVE'S USE): Conditions of Acceptability - These motors are for use only in applications where the acceptability of the combination has been determined by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. The features which should be considered in determining the acceptability of these motors in specific applications are indicated below. 1. This Report covers only the general construction features on the motors and no evaluation of the performance characteristics has been made. Therefore, the acceptability of these motors when operated under normal or abnormal load conditions within an appliance or enclosure must be determined for each use. 2. The Recognition of the motors covered by this Report is based upon the assurance of the manufacturer that the specific motor model number will change if any significant construction variations are made. Because of this, it is necessary that the complete motor model be included in the appliance Report, along with the complete nameplate electrical ratings and significant construction features that can be determined by inspection, without disassembly of the motor. Examples of significant changes are insulation changes, protector changes, and changes that affect the performance of the motor. 3. CNR - Identifies compliance with CSA Standard C22.2, No USR - Identifies compliance with Standard UL 1004.

May be provided with an o-ring rubber gasket or flat rubber gasket fitted between the motor enclosure and the terminal box. The features which should be considered in determining the acceptability of these motors in specific applications are indicated below. 1. This Report covers only the general construction features on the motors and no evaluation of the performance characteristics has been made. Therefore, the acceptability of these motors when operated under normal or abnormal load conditions within an appliance or enclosure must be determined for each use. 2.
