3 GREENBELT Channell provides High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) grade level boxes and lids in a variety of depths and sizes for greenbelt applications. These boxes are designed to meet the specific fiber, coax and copper needs of the broadband, telecommunications and utilities industries. They can be used in conjunction with various Channell products in below grade applications. Applications: The following grade level boxes feature a snap-on lid design. They are commonly used for various telecommunication, broadband and utility applications and can be secured with a bolt- down cover. Factory installed studs on the straight sidewalls allow a full range of unique mounting options. Features L bolt security option on all plastic covers. The optional polymer concrete ring and cover with cross bar racking make the SGLB boxes suitable for use in sidewalk or driveway applications. 9 SIDEWALK Channell's grade level boxes and lids for sidewalk applications are designed to withstand the heavier load requirements encountered in these applications and meet or exceed 12,000 Pound vertical load specifications. Dependent upon the specific application, boxes are available in a variety of sizes and depths. Material choices include HDPE plastic boxes with polymer concrete lids, concrete, polymer concrete and composite material boxes and lids. Applications: The following grade level boxes are typically used to house multiple drop wire splices. Channell offers several different alternatives for these heavy-duty load requirements, including polymer concrete boxes and lids, FRP boxes with polymer concrete rings and lids, and reinforced concrete boxes with steel lids. Applications: The following grade level boxes are used in a variety of heavy-duty underground plant applications, including broadband taps. They can also be used for small copper splice applications.
