1 Toyota Kluger (200 Production Onwards) ALLOY NUDGE BAR INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION Accessory Part No. NBAR0029 Installation Time: 60min Approx Nudge Bar Weight: 4KG! Important: Please read each step of these instructions carefully prior to commencing installation! Place these instructions in the vehicle s glovebox after installation is complete! Important: Do not use this product in any other motor vehicle for which it is not designed. Do not use any other mounting location/method other than described in this instruction. It is advisable to seek assistance of another person when installing this product. Do not repair or modify the Nudge Bar and/or its mounting bracket in any way. Repair or modification may effect proper operation of the airbag resulting in serious injury. Do not remove the label from the Nudge Bar. Layout: Tools Required: Phillips Screwdriver 3mm Socket/Spanner 6mm Socket/Spanner 7mm Socket/Spanner Bolt Assembly Torques: M6 = 9 Nm M8 = 22 Nm M0 = 44 Nm SK587 Page of 6

Stubborn grime can be removed with kerosene. Polished surfaces can be maintained with Autosol metal polish or similar products. Use as recommended. SK587 Page 2 of 6

3 . a. Remove The Front Bumper Flat Screwdriver Phillips Screwdriver Remove the plastic cover from above the grille, by pushing in the small buttons on top of the plastic fasteners. Figure a. Remove the Plastic Cover From Above the Grille b. Detach the top edge of the grille from the vehicle, by using a flat screwdriver to remove 6 privets. Figure b. Detach the Top Edge of the Grille c. Detach the centre of the grille, by removing the concealed privet, located in front of the hood lock hook. Figure c. Detach the Centre of the Grille SK587 Page 3 of 6

4 d. Detach the sides of the grille, by removing 2 privets, concealed between the grille and headlight. Figure d. Detach the Sides of the Grille e. Detach the lower edge of the front bumper from the splash guard, by removing 8 screws. Figure e. Detach the Lower Edge of the Bumper f. Detach the bumper sides from the fender liners, by removing screw and 2 half-turn scrivets, from each side. Figure f. Detach the Sides of the Bumper SK587 Page 4 of 6

5 g. Whilst supporting the bumpers weight, pull each side away from the vehicle, unplug the foglamps (if installed), and carefully remove the bumper from the vehicle. Figure g. Remove the Bumper 2. Remove the Bumper Support Beam 4mm Socket + Extension Remove the foam crash attenuator, by pulling it away frm the bumper beam. Remove the bumper support beam, by removing 3 bolts from each side. Figure 2. Remove the Bumper Support Beam 3. Trim the Air Deflectors Knife Trim the plastic air deflectors, as shown. Figure 3. Trim the Air Deflectors SK587 Page 5 of 6

6 4. Fit the Mounting Brackets 4mm Socket + Extension Fit the mounting brackets to the vehicle chassis end-plates, ensuring they do not interfere with the plastic air deflectors. Re-fit the bumper support beam, using the original bolts, ensuring they are all tightened to the specified torque. Re-fit the foam crash attenuator. Figure 4. Fit the Mounting Brckets 5. Trim the Lower Grille Sharp Knife or Hacksaw Blade Trim two ribs from each side of the lower grille, as shown. Figure 5. Trim the Lower Grille 6. Re-fit the Bumper, and Fit the Nudge Bar Flat Screwdriver Phillips Screwdriver 6mm Socket/Spanner 7mm Socket/Spanner Re-fit the bumper, following Step#, in reverse. Fit the Nudge Bar to the Mounting Brackets, using 4x M0 Hex Bolts, Flat Washers, and Nylock Nuts. Adjust to desired position, and fully tighten the fasteners. Figure 6.
