Our Products HSLFT - High Speed Linear Friction Tester The HSLFT offers a unique possibility to determine friction coefficients of rubber samples on different surfaces and under various operating conditions in order to predict compound and pattern influences on the grip and traction performance of tires. Reproducible ice and snow conditions transfer expensive winter tests into the lab. HDOT - High Dynamic Oscillation Tester HDOT is a system to measure the transient response of treadrubbers on different friction-/ road surfaces. It is based on the customers experience with the HSLFT and advanced customer needs. Geometrically standardized rubber samples are activated with high frequency in various loading conditions, bi-axial in longitudinal and vertical direction. The machine is available for PCR and Light Truck Tires. Page 2 of 6

3 LDMT - Load Deflection Multifunction Tester The spring rate of tires is an important parameter to design the comfort of a vehicle. A precise measurement in each degree of freedom is necessary to characterize a tire and to provide a usable input for simulation programs. Altracon Spring Rate Testers are based on the proven vertical L-frame base with spindle loading of the tire. A heavy-duty version for OTR and TBR (T&B) tires (customized) is based on a 4-pillar design. OD-FPAS - Outdoor Footprint Analysis System A combined optical and tactile measurement system. It consists from a watertight container, which will be integrated into the pavement of a test track. The container is topped with a rigid glass-plate, which is optimized to be used for orthoscopic recording or photographing of overrunning objects from underneath. Multi-component load cells allow the measurement of lateral and longitudinal forces besides the actual load as well as the corresponding moments. TCTS - Tire Condition Testing System Rate of loss of inflation pressure testing is deemed to be a mandatory material test according ASTM F a standards. Altracon offers a turnkey solution for a fully equipped test room which may be customized in terms of the number of tires to be tested. HPTC - High Pressure Tire Cutter The HPTC is a water jet cutter which is specially designed to cut rubber materials and tires. It is customized and ensures cuts in all materials and tire classes using a special cutting process. An additional grinding or polishing, which leads in most cases to partial damages or even destruction of the material compounds, is not required in this method. The HPTC still delivers precise and repeatable results when conventional cutting procedures have already exceeded their limits of feasibility. Even cutting of green tires is feasible. Page 3 of 6
