3 FLENDER hoisting/luffing gear units No matter which gear unit you have selected: with the FLENDER gear units, you have always chosen an economical solution that is perfectly tailored to your needs. Aside from a compact standard gear unit series, Siemens offers application specific gear units having a large overall center distance. The gear units are perfectly suited for applications having motor and cable drum mounted in parallel. The gear unit series is optimally suited for container cranes, gantry cranes, pouring cranes, tower slewing cranes, offshore cranes and draw works. FLENDER rotating/swivel gear units When it comes to positioning driven loads, our modular FLENDER slewing gear drives are first choice. E.g. in cranes, excavators and drilling rigs. On the drive side, you may select between short and a long cylindrical lantern gear versions. The mounted drive pinion is implemented according to your needs. Whether electric motors or fast and slow running hydraulic motors: on the drive side, we can offer you solutions that in some cases have already been standardized. FLENDER trolley/travel gear units Whether trolley gear, rail gear or tire gear: each application places specific demands on how the gear unit need to be designed these demands are perfectly fulfilled by our FLENDER gear unit series. It convinces through a maximum of safety, highest quality and long service life even when put under heavy strains., e. g. container cranes. Drive torques of between 10,000 to 130,000 Nm can be realized. Our FLENDER trolley running /travel gear units are available in helical and helical bevel gear versions, 3- as well 4 stage gear units.
