3 PLACING AN ORDER/OVERVIEW GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES: Prior to completing a transaction with your agency, the following must be on file with us: 1. A current list of persons authorized To Order explosives on behalf of your agency. 2. An Intended Use of Explosive Materials statement fromyour agency. 3. A current list of persons authorized To Sign for explosives on behalf of your agency. A Federal Explosives License is not required for government agencies. Please request a quote for quantity discounts. SHIPPING AND ONSITE PICKUP PICKUPS MUST BE SCHEDULED AT LEAST 5 WORKING DAYS IN ADVANCE. PLEASE CALL TO SCHEDULE YOUR PICKUP. Shipping charges will be added to your invoice. Shipments will be combined, when possible, to provide the lowest cost. We utilize FedEx, FedEx Ground and FedEx Freight to transport shipments of explosives classified by DOT as 1.4B, 1.4Dand 1.4S, as well as binary explosives. Shipping orders of explosives classified by DOT as 1.1B or 1.1Dcan be arranged with specialized carriers, which incur significant transportation charges. If possible, it is advised that agencies arrange to pick up these items at one of our magazine sites. Several of our items, including all DOT Class 1.1 explosives, cannot be shipped by air. Rate quotes for shipping are available upon request. Orders to be shipped: Upon receipt of a purchase order or completed order form, either by fax, mail or , orders will be shipped to you. A $ handling fee, per order, over and above the standard shipping charges, will be charged for all overnight and air shipments of hazardous goods. Orders to be picked up at one of our magazine sites: Agents who are authorized by governmental agencies may pick up orders provided the order is transported in an agency vehicle. It is preferred that all products be picked up at one of our magazine sites, which will save your agency considerable expense in shipping fees. Please contact us to find the closest location to you. PAYMENT We accept government credit cards or government purchase orders/checks. Master Card, Visa and PayPal are also accepted. Terms of payment: Due on receipt of product. Pennsylvania sales tax will be added where applicable. All orders of explosive products not paid for within 90 days will be reported to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives/Federal Bureau of Investigation as stolen. NOTE: Britacord(R) is marked at each meter interval directly on the cord with a traceability code and a number indicating the amount of cord left on the spool. This removes any guesswork out of partial spool usage and aids greatly in inventory management. All detonating cord sizes are packaged in the same conveniently sized box (1 spool per box) allowing for easy stacking, storage and transportation of any mix of product. They are constructed of 11-gauge steel with two 1/4 inch steel lock hoods and are lined with 1/2 inch plywood secured with non-sparking rivets. The lightweight construction of these units enables easy transfer fromstorage inside a building overnight to a vehicle for daytime use.
