1 DATED: COMMUNICATION OF ADDITIONAL INFORMATION/MODIFICATIONS IN THE N.I.T TO THE PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS PARTICIPATING IN THE TENDER FOR ENLISTMENT OF PRIVATE SECURITY AGENCIES UNDER WBSETCL IN RESPONSE TO THE N.I.T.NO.CORP/HR&A/04/2014 DTD Payment of Bonus:-Bonus payment to the security personnel shall be made annually and accordingly, the Bonus part shall be out of purview of Wages as defined under Section 2(22) of the E.S.I. Act, 1948 for the purpose of computation of contributions under the said Act. The modus-operandi for payment of Bonus as decided is as follows:- That the agency shall claim the payable Annual Bonus Amount to the respective Controlling Office in the 1 st week of August of every year along with the Acquittance Sheets pertaining to the period starting from the month of August of the previous year to the month of July of the current year. That the respective HR&A wing of the Office shall verify the claim and if found ok shall forward it to the concerned F&A Wing of the Office which will release the payment in favour of the Agency within 15 days of receipt of the Claim. The concerned Agency shall disburse the Bonus payment to the Security Personnel within 07 days of receipt of payment from our offices and will submit the confirmation of payments within 7 days thereafter. If any claim of arrear wages has been paid during the period of August to July due to enhancement of Minimum Wages by the Labour Department, Govt. of West Bengal, such arrear wage shall also be taken into account for the calculation of bonus payable. E.S.I.: The Employer s and Employees E.S.I. Contributions shall be calculated on the Minimum Wages plus Special Allowance of the Security Supervisors & Gunman. Accordingly, the E.S.I. component shown in the Price BID Sheet & Break-up for the unit price in the N.I.T gets changed and therefore furnished in the Annexure-I & II. Interested bidders have to download the said portion and quote. Unit-wise tentative requirement of Security Personnel: Unit-wise tentative requirement of Security Personnel as stated under Clause No.IB.11 of the N.I.T. is furnished in the Annexure-A.
