1 (ISO 9001 CERTIFIED) TENDER ENQUIRY FOR PROCUREMENT OF BULLET PROOF JACKET To Subject: TENDER ENQUIRY NO. 04/LP/ /BPJ-2000/WIL-dt You are requested to submit your quotations for the items appended as per schedule of TE (Page 4) of this tender: Terms & Conditions: 1. Tender will be opened at 1100 Hrs on at following address and the Quotations must reach before 1000 hrs: WAH INDUSTRIES LTD Box No. 13, BID Center, Room No. 1, Near Rabitta Hall, Quaid Avenue, Wah Cantt. PAKISTAN 2. You are required to quote in two parts:- Part I "Technical Offer": It should exclusively give technical details and literatures/brochures of the offered Bullet Proof Jackets; validity date; delivery schedule; and signed undertaking given on the schedule to this Tender Enquiry. It must not indicate price, costs etc. Part II "Commercial Offer": It should indicate the commercial terms e.g. price, terms of payment, mode of payment, mode of supply. Each part should be placed in a separate sealed cover. The envelopes should be inscribed with: Part I "Technical Quotation without Price" and Part II "Commercial Quotation with Price". 3. Bid money at the rate of 2% of the quoted value should accompany the tender in the shape of Deposit at Call Receipt from a scheduled Bank drawn in favor of Managing Director, Wah Industries Limited, Wah Cantt. In case of failure of supply, the bid money will be forfeited.

2 -2-4. Tender received without Bid Money will be rejected. 5. The tender must be accompanied by a non-refundable fee valuing Rs by means of Crossed Cheque in favour of Managing Director Wah industries Ltd Wah Cantt. 6. The right to accept and reject any offer or to cancel the tender, without assigning any reason or to negotiate price prejudice to the original offer is hereby reserved. 7. The quotations must be valid for at least 90 days from the date of opening of tender. 8. The quotation should hold good for any reduced or enhanced quantity without notice. 9. The suppliers registered with DGP(A) & Sales Tax Deptt. are only eligible to participate in the T.E. Proof of registration must be provided. 10. The competitive supplier shall have to furnish sales Tax invoice and professional Tax Clearance certificate. 11. Performance 10% of the total value will be submitted prior to the placement of contract. The performance bond will be returned on satisfactory completion of the contract. In case of failure of the supply the performance bond (security money) will be forfeited. 12. The store must be protected adequately and appropriate against damages from environmental effects, water or other substances during journey/transportation to withstand the rough handing involved in transit & provide preservation of material while held in storage by the consignee. 13. The specifications are attached as Annexure A. 14. The inspection of store will be carried out by QA- department POF / Inspectorate of Armaments Rawalpindi % Payment will be released after successful inspection of the store. 16. Any quantity of material, if found defective, will have to be replaced by the supplier free of cost under his own arrangement. 17. The stores shall be supplied on warranty/guarantee for 12 months. Rejected stores will be removed and replaced with the acceptable store by the supplier at his own expenses within specified time. 18. In case of failure to supply the store without reasonable ground, the unsupplied store will be procured from else where at the risk and cost of the firm.

3 If at anytime during the currency of this contract. The purchaser decide to decrease/increase the quantity or terminate the contract for any reason whatsoever (Other than for reasons of Failure to Supply the store), he shall have the right to do so. 20. 7 3. General Qualities / Provisions a. It should have opening from sides and collar protection. b. Should be able to withstand rough handling in the field. c. Carrying bag should be available in nylon / parachute cloth of good quality for safe / prolonged storage /protection. d. The protective material / armour plate should be 3 cms below the collar bone and 2 cm above the naval of soldier, ensuring free movement of arms, limbs and handling of personnel weapons. e. Should be easy to wear and comfortable over prolonged period. f. Should have CCD/black colour. g. Should be provided in following sizes:- (1) Small (2) Medium (3) Large 4. Following may please be ensured: a. Shoulder Padding: Should be provided on both shoulders with shoulder straps on left shoulder. b. Stitching along the Seams: Double stitching all along the seam. c. Waist Belt: It should be provided to fasten the Jacket at waist with double D ring and Velcro or some better arrangement. d. Causality Drag: Causality Drag holder at back shoulder be provided.
