22 Conclusions Significant interest so far mostly in the building automation sector. In October 2013, ABB, Bosch, Cisco, and LG, signed a memorandum which would allow diverse devices and services to interoperate, and to exchange information with each other. But Industrial automation building up pace, some sectors more difficult to penetrate than others. Large worldwide investment in thermoelectric generators for waste heat recovery in vehicles but also many other options becoming relevant in the automotive space (GPS,TPMS, automated driving..) Integration of the functionality of mobile platforms will open up significant new opportunities and lead to expanded markets (LBS). Battery technology competition a major hindrance.
