4 The SG-Line Versatile, efficient and reliable Efficiency / Concept The modular, compact and operator friendly SG line is ideal for the granulating, sieving, grating, disagglomeration and homogenisation of hard, breakable, tacky and viscous products from the pharmaceutical, chemical and foodstuffs industries. The advantages of this extremely compact and handy multi-purpose machine are in its versatility and flexible applications for use and the large active sieve surface. The special granulation process with the rotating sieve drum and the stator prevents any blockages of the sieve openings thanks to the centrifugal force of the product.the size, shape and distribution of the granules are determined by the type of sieve opening, the sieve drum circumferential speed and the distance between rotor and sieve. Finish / Quality All parts coming into contact with the product to be processed are made of stainless steel AISI-316L (1.4435/1.4404) and FDA conform plastic seals (EPDM, PTFE). The surfaces and weld seams touching the product are ground and polished (Ra 0,8 µm). The high processing quality of the cylindrical housing that is tilted by 45 prevents the product from adhering to the surfaces Simple, fast and hygienic cleaning of the system Installation and removal of the sieve and rasp drum and also the stator are easily carried out without the need for any tools There is absolutely no mechanical contact (metal friction) between sieve drum and stator thanks to the guaranteed minimum distance Stepless manual speed and height adjustment
