Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. Name of Product: Perfect Flame Double Lid Four Burner Gas Grills Units: About 24,000 Retailer: Lowe s Home Centers, Inc., of North Wilkesboro, N.C. and Lowe s HIW, Inc., of Tukwila, Wash. 08/29/08 Weekly Recall Information

2 Manufacturer: Lucas Innovation Inc., of China Hazard: The cooking chamber of the grill can melt and/or ignite, posing a risk of fires and burn injuries to consumers. Incidents/Injuries: There have been 175 reports of grill fires and 25 reports of grills melting, some of which resulted in minor property damage. No injuries have been reported. Description: This recall involves Perfect Flame brand grills, Model GAC3615 four burner LP gas grills. The grill has two lids. "Perfect Flame" is printed on the larger lid. The model number, serial number, and date code are printed on a label on the right side cart frame panel. The following serial numbers and date codes are included in this recall. Manufactured in: China Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled grills, disconnect the propane tanks, and return the grills without the propane tanks to any Lowe s store to receive a full refund. 4 (2) REMOTE-CONTROLLED HELICOPTER TOYS RECALLED BY INNOVAGE DUE TO FIRE AND BURN HAZARDS The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. Name of Product: "Sky Scrambler" and "The Sharper Image" Wireless Indoor Helicopters Units: About 685,000 Importer/Distributor: Innovage LLC, of Foothill Ranch, Calif. Hazard: The rechargeable lithium ion battery inside the helicopters can overheat, catch fire, and ignite nearby combustibles, posing fire and burn hazards to consumers. Incidents/Injuries: Innovage has received two reports of incidents of the toy helicopters igniting, including one burn injury to a consumer s fingertip. Description: The "Sky Scrambler" and "The Sharper Image" toy helicopters have yellow, red or blue decals. BH26047 is printed on the Sky Scrambler s tail. The Sharper Image is printed on the tail of The Sharper Image helicopters. Sold at: Mass merchandisers, department stores, drug stores, and other retail stores nationwide, and on the Web from June 2007 through May 2008 for about $20. Manufactured in: Hong Kong Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled helicopters and contact Innovage for a full refund. 8 (3) INDOOR LIGHTING FIXTURES RECALLED BY LITHONIA LIGHTING DUE TO FIRE HAZARD The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. Name of Product: Indoor Lighting Fixtures Units: About 1,200 Manufacturer/Distributor: Lithonia Lighting, of Conyers, Ga. Hazard: A thermal protector could be missing from the lighting fixtures, posing a risk of overheating and fire. Incidents/Injuries: None reported. Description: The recalled fixture is a ceiling-mounted downlight. Model number LV3R is included in this recall and is printed on a UL label inside the light s housing. Sold at: Electrical distributors and electrical sales representatives nationwide from April 2007 through May 2008 for between $60 and $80. Manufactured in: United States Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the lighting fixtures and contact Lithonia Lighting to arrange for a free replacement fixture. 9 (3) LOG SPLITTER ENGINES RECALLED BY AMERICAN HONDA MOTOR CO. DUE TO FIRE HAZARD The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. Name of Product: Engines used in SpeeCo and Huskee Brand Log Splitters Units: About 5,600 9

10 Manufacturer: American Honda Motor Corp., of Torrance, Calif. Hazard: The engine s fuel tank can crack and leak, posing a risk of fire or explosion. Incidents/Injuries: None reported. Description: The recall involves Honda engines (model type GCV160LA N1A) used in Split Master by SpeeCo and Huskee brand log splitters. Only engine serial numbers between and are included in the recall. The serial number is located below the upper shroud near the oil dip-stick. The following models of log splitters are affected by the recall and are either silver/black or red/black colored. Huskee Log Splitter SpeeCo Split Masters LS401227TS (22 Ton) LS401228NO (27 Ton) LS401228SP (22 Ton) LS401227NO (22 Ton) LS401225NO (25 Ton) Sold at: The log splitters with the recalled engines were sold at outdoor power equipment dealers and Tractor Supply stores nationwide from January 2007 through June 2008 for between $1,150 and $1,500. Manufactured in: United States Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the affected log splitters and contact any Honda Lawn and Garden dealer or Honda Engine dealer for a free repair. Registered owners of the recalled log splitters will be mailed a notice. RECALLS FAX MACHINES DUE TO FIRE HAZARD The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. Name of Product: HP Fax 1010 and 1010xi Machines Units: About 367,000 units (an additional 84,000 units sold outside of the U.S.) Importer: Hewlett-Packard Co., of Palo Alto, Calif. Hazard: An internal electrical component failure can cause overheating of the product posing a risk of burn or fire. Incidents/Injuries: Hewlett-Packard has received three reports of overheating including two in the U.S. resulting in minor property damage. No injuries have been reported. Description: This recall involves the HP Fax 1010 and HP Fax 1010xi models manufactured from November 2002 through September The HP logo and the model name and number are printed on the front of the fax machine. Sold at: Electronic, computer and camera stores nationwide, as well as Web retailers from November 2002 through December 2004 for between $130 and $150. Manufactured in: China Remedy: Consumers should immediately disconnect the recalled fax machine from the electrical power source and contact HP to receive a rebate. 13 (6) POWER LIGHT MODULES RECALLED BY GCI TECHNOLOGIES DUE TO FIRE AND BURN HAZARDS The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. Name of Product: Power Light Modules Units: About 7,500 Importer: GCI Technologies Corp., of Edison, N.J. Hazard: Internal wiring in the module s circuit boards is incorrectly installed, posing a risk of an electrical fire and burn hazards to consumers. Incidents/Injuries: None reported. Description: This recall involves Gemini brand power light modules used in DJ rack systems. Models included in this recall are PL-01 and Pl-02. The model numbers are printed on the front of the module, near the power switch. Models included in this recall have an ETL logo on the back panel. Sold by: Professional audio stores and dealers nationwide between July 2004 and September 2007 for about $
