Schedule preparing of overhaul and maintenance programs and carrying out maintenance and testing works (periodical, preventive, emergency) fault diagnostic, troubleshooting of electrical, measuring, protection and control systems. Responsible for handling and carrying out overall activities for on-site inspection tests, troubleshooting and repair works of all electrical equipments from 400 volts to 220KV AC systems and from 48 volt to 220 volt DC systems. Minor and Major Inspection and Testing for variety of electrical equipments and their utilities in site and other neighbors substations and perform needed maintenance and repair for those equipments. Doing all tests of various protection relays by myself. Familiar with electrical relays currently used in the electric power utility industry and experience with application of relays and metering devices. Performing fault analysis, relay coordination studies and relay settings and preparing and reviewing engineering and designs. Performing the on-site routine tests for all electrical equipments such as Protective relays (electromechanical, static, digital), metering devices, CT s, PT s, CVT s, 220KV GIS switchgears, (HV/MV/LV) C.B's, (HV/MV/LV) transformers, generators and MV/LV motors. Maintain documents like test reports, relay configuration file, final setting file, XRIO filedetc. Stability test of transformer differential schemes, bus bar differential schemes, cable differential schemes, 1 and 1/2 bus bar arrangement schemes, single and double bus bar schemes arrangement. Perform all site testing and commissioning activities in HV Transmission substations and Power Plants including: protective relays, control and interlocking circuits, control and protection panels testing, metering schemes, synchronizing schemes, voltage regulating schemes, bus bar schemes and breaker failure schemes. Developed weekly update record event for project outages and contingency status for all units to share information and high coordination performance. Diagnosed problems and work to solve and define the developmental problems. Moreover, made appropriate repairs with written reports in consultations with technical manuals provided by the manufacturers. Transformers mechanical protection relays tests (Buchhlez relay, pressure relief device, rapid pressure device. Moreover, attend all meetings with manufacturer companies in the ministry to analyze and investigate the faults and problems which occurred and participation in preparing their reports. Measuring Contact speed & DCR for different types of (HV/MV/LV) C.B's. Testing of Earthing System and Cathodic Protection system. Thermal Imaging for predictive maintenance for electrical equipments "Camera "FLUKE" TI55". Checking and receiving the spare parts and supervising its setting up. Overall control panels scheme checking and its protective relays, and check the incoming and outgoing hard wired and DCS signals. Leakage current for surge arrestors. DGA and breakdown tests of Transformer oil samples using Transformer fault gas analyzer Morgan Schaffer MYRKOS II.
