2 KINESIS K3 ONE (1) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY AND RETURN POLICY We warrant the Kinesis K3 wind and solar charger against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of retail purchase (including purchase from our website or that of one of our authorized dealers or distributors) by the original end-user purchaser (this one year period is called the Warranty Period ). If you become aware of a defect in your Kinesis K3, you must notify us within the Warranty Period by visiting to fill out the Contact Form. In order to accept and process your claim, we may request that you return the defective Kinesis K3 to us, and that defective Kinesis K3 will become our property. Once we receive the defective Kinesis K3, we will examine the claimed defective product to ensure that any product failure is not the result of physical abuse, accident, fire, misuse, or violating any of the safety precautions and prohibitions on use and storage of the product contained in the K3 Quick Start Guide. If, after a thorough inspection of the returned product, we accept your claim, we will either (1) repair the defective product at no charge, or (2) exchange the product with a product that is new or equivalent to new in performance and reliability and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product. Acceptance or rejection of a claim is at the sole discretion of Kinesis Industries LLC. In accordance with applicable law, we may require that you furnish proof of purchase details and/or comply with our online claim registration requirements before receiving service pursuant to this warranty. You will be responsible for custom duties, V.A.T. and other associated taxes and charges and for compliance with all applicable export laws and regulations if the product cannot be serviced in the country in which service is requested. Exclusion and Limitations on Limited Warranty This Limited Warranty applies only to products manufactured by or for Kinesis Industries LLC. This Limited Warranty does not apply to any products we do not manufacture, even if those products are sold by us on our website or packaged with the Kinesis K3. We provide all of our products, in so far as permitted by law, as is. We are not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to the use, storage or disposal of the Kinesis K3. This warranty does not apply: (a) to the internal battery unless damage has occurred to the battery due to a defect in materials or workmanship; (b) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents and broken plastic on ports; (c) to damage caused by use with products we do not manufacture; (d) to damage caused by violating any of the safety precautions and prohibitions on use and storage of the product contained in the K3 Quick Start Guide; (e) to damage caused by attempts to disassemble, repair, alter the functionality of or otherwise modify the Kinesis K3; or (f ) to damage caused by accidental or intentional exposure to extreme weather conditions, fire, abuse or other external causes. Return Policy Customers are responsible for shipping charges to return any defective Kinesis K3 to us. We will pay shipping charges to send a replacement Kinesis K3 to you if we accept your claim. When you contact us at you will be required to provide us with information about where and when you purchased your Kinesis K3. You will then be assigned a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA number) and given instructions on where to ship the defective product. After we have inspected the returned product for manufacturing defects, we will either (1) determine that the product is defective, or (2) determine that there are no manufacturing defects, in which case you will not be entitled to receive a replacement product. If you did not purchase a Kinesis K3 directly from Kinesis Industries LLC, you may be required to provide proof that you are the original purchaser/end-user before your claim is processed.

6 K3 TIPS & TRICKS For best results, first charge your K3 to full power from the wall socket using the AC adapter. Then expose the K3 to wind and sun to trickle-charge the internal battery and keep it topped-off' Use the storage area inside your K3 for cable and adapter tips - use the drawstring bag to protect and carry the K3 to the beach, camping, or on a trip On the road, place your K3 on the dashboard to collect sun, or place in a center cup-holder and let the fan spin the wind turbine Your K3 was designed with notches in the back of the unit that allow you to lay the unit in multiple positions to track the sun's changing location in the sky; keep the solar panel pointed directly at the sun for maximum charging Hang or securely clip your K3 by pulling out the hook located on the bottom of the unit - suspending the K3 from a sturdy tree branch or clipping the K3 to a carabiner on a backpack are just a few ways A window sill is a wonderful home for your K3 - generate solar power while reminding people to do their part as well! Collecting both wind and sun at the same time will increase your K3's charge input Keep your K3's solar panel clean for maximum efficiency by wiping it with a damp cloth as dust and dirt will impede the solar efficiency Your K3 makes an ideal addition to a home emergency kit Nothing lasts forever.
