12 Product Portfolio FATH Joule Ultra-thin thermal collector for combination with PV installations Generation of warm water using solar energy was never easier and better looking! The FATH JOULE thermal collector may be installed side-byside to our PV panels on the same substructure thus creating a homogenous looking surface. The roof-integrated thermal collector is used to create warm water and may also be used to support the conventional heating system in the house. Although it is ultra-thin, the collector has the same performance levels as regular thermal collectors but without condensation water problems thanks to the Argon gas filling. This technique of filling the collector with gas is also commonly used in insulation products. The seamless integration of the window makes a beautiful roof which home-owners just have fall in love with and that gives architects new design avenues to explore. The Development of the window is not yet completed. It is in prototyping but has already been used in a couple of projects. The Napanee production facility produces the patented FATH Energy Roof Solution, the next generation of solar systems, a green solution to integrate seamlessly in current building techniques and reduce the future electricity demand on our Hydro infrastructure. 18
