4 03 OUR SERVICES Marelli Motori has been building electrical rotating machines for over a century and boasts extensive experience in numerous applications; from the marine sector to oil & gas, hydroelectric, cogeneration and power generation systems as well as industrial motor applications. Through our technical and application support services, we are able to constantly monitor your machines and ensure systems are functioning correctly. We can also provide support for installations of any brand, helping to optimize and extend the life of your equipment. The correct functioning of electrical rotating machines requires regular maintenance and specific resources and skills. Incorrect maintenance techniques can in fact lead to serious failures resulting in lost revenue, so it is critical to contact a competent and specialist industry professional. It is important to know for example, that there are specific maintenance tasks required for different equipment and these are not limited to just oil changes and greasing, but consist of dozens of different electrical and mechanical controls. The data collected during such observations are then analysed by specialist personnel, provide a true indication of the condition of the machine, and also point to the possible need to take preventive measures to avoid failure. Marelli Motori has designed special packages for maintenance services to take care of your machine throughout its lifecycle, while minimising the risk of a production failure and so guaranteeing overall peace of mind.

7 06 WARRANTY EXTENSION Should you require a longer storage period for your equipment, Marelli Motori offers different services for the extension of the standard warranty (usually 1 year from date of shipment). The warranty extension can be applied to: Machines produced in Marelli Motori establishments all machines reviewed by Marelli Motori. Activating the extended warranty may require inspection of the machine a verification of its condition by Marelli Motori technicians. 8 07 WARRANTY EXTENSION The service allows you to extend the warranty conditions, stipulated with the sale, by up to five years, depending on the selected contract. KASKO WARRANTY EXTENSION The Kasko warranty service has all the features of the standard warranty but also covers damage due to external or unidentifiable causes (this service is available only in combination with the routine maintenance package). COMMISSIONING Marelli Motori provides assistance during installation and the first commissioning of motors and generators ensuring the proper functionality of equipment and verifying performance. The commissioning service includes: On-site presence of a Marelli Motori specialized technician for the commissioning of the machine a full technical report containing data collected, analysis and evaluation of the operational status of the system. ADVANTAGES Certainty on the proper commissioning and operation of the machine the warranty period starts from the date of commissioning and no longer from the date of shipping low cost if the service is ordered together with the machine(s).

9 08 PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE CONTRACT The service includes: Periodic visits to site for maintenance and electrical and mechanical predictive diagnosis supply of consumable components and related labour a detailed report post visit renewal of the guarantee on the machine until the next visit spare parts with particularly advantageous discounts. 10 09 CORRECTIVE MAINTENANCE CONTRACT Corrective maintenance, also called maintenance in breakdown, is an extraordinary maintenance programme that provides repair and replacement of equipment following a breakdown. Corrective maintenance takes effect post fault occuring, with a core aim of recovering machine performance. The service comprises a package of days / technician for on-site interventions, inclusive of: Labour time of the technician to restore the machine travel and accommodation costs incurred by the technician, are all inclusive within the fee a full report following the intervention. 12 11 EXCHANGE PROGRAMME The exchange programme provides electrical machinery, new or refurbished, to be used in emergency situations or in scheduled maintenance. Marelli Motori is committed to providing replacement machines, if the customer needs to revise or repair their own, in exchange for the cost of refurbishing the machine withdrawn. On request, we can also offer the commissioning of the new machine. 13 12 SPARE PARTS Genuine Marelli Motori spare parts are available at all our locations and to better assist you throughout the life cycle of your machines we offer packages of spare parts calibrated to individual needs. Marelli Motori will analyse your system and the spare parts required to ensure timely resolution of any critical situations. We ensure the availability of spare parts, as per the agreement and they will be sent to you by express courier. Three different solutions are available: STANDARD - supply of consumable spare parts PREMIUM standard spare parts + recommended spare parts DELUXE supply of custom spare parts ADVANTAGES The components are stored in a suitable environment immediate availability of spare parts for special machines purchased in the form of a contract for greater convenience guaranteed delivery times priority for technical assistance for urgent interventions 24/7 telephone technical support (on request). TRAINING Marelli Motori provides training to assist our customers in using our products. Courses are held in Italian or English (other languages on request) at our headquarters in Arzignano (Vicenza), but it is also possible to arrange them at other locations.
