Gravity Control Technologies Phase II - Manned Prototype Development of the manned prototype will parallel the unmanned craft. Many components implemented on the unmanned prototype will be transferred to the manned vessel such as the Hull Wide Propulsion Assembly, power systems, and communications capabilities. At this phase of the development cycle, we are looking for enough financing to build mockups of the manned vessel for system components testing purposes. As part of the manned prototype engineering, we wish to develop and evaluate: software components holographic 3D display systems navigation systems control systems life-support components power components manufacturing techniques, and propulsion system integration using the mockup of the manned prototype. Following the "double usability" standard of all GCT vessels, the manned prototype will serve as the design base for GCT's 'Corporate Voyager' craft. Main Body The main body will be constructed of a combination of aluminum and titanium parts. The overall dimensions of the 'Corporate Voyager' mirror those of the manned prototype: 18 meters in diameter and 8 meters in height. The external casing will be made of a single piece of superconducting material which will serve as the propulsion system of the vessel. The projected usable lifetime of each craft is approximately 25 years. 1
2 Command Deck The Command Deck -- located at the upper part of the vessel -- is configured for flight control, entry/egress functions, and can also be equipped with an observation deck. The many planned amenities of the Command Deck include: stations for the flight control officer and pilot entry hatch for boarding the vessel housing for the gravity elevator holographic, 3-dimensional view screen (technology already available) 300-degree windows for unobstructed outside view optional arrangements for an observation deck with seating for up to 4 people All flight control hardware will be interfaced through holographic 3D touch screens. Passenger Deck The Passenger Deck -- located at the center of the vessel -- is the largest deck of the 'Corporate Voyager'. It is 18 meters in diameter and 2.2 meters in height. The passenger deck can be configured with multiple options to suite mission requirements. It can: provide seating for up to 32 people in business-class sized seats be configured with up to 5 offices be configured with up to 2 private bedrooms be configured with up to 2 meeting rooms the base configuration includes 2 toilets, a galley, and 2 storage lockers be configured with 1 meeting room, 1-or-2 offices, and still provide seating for 16 people. The final passenger deck characteristics will be determined by the buyer. Cargo Deck The Cargo Deck -- located at the lower part of the vessel -- can be configured for a number of different uses, including: luggage stowage transportation of corporate materials it can be equipped with a meeting room it can be equipped with sleeping quarters and lavatory it can be equipped as office space and it can serve as an observation deck. 2
3 Initial projections call for carrying capacity of at least 3 tons. The cargo deck measures 2 meters in height and approximately 8 meters in diameter Propulsion System The final version of the Corporate Voyager will employ what we call the 'Hull Wide Propulsion System'. In essence, the central part of the craft -- more specifically the outer casing of the central part -- will be composed of specially-manufactured temperature independent superconducting compounds. These superconductors -- when resonance-tuned the Zero-Point Field -- will provide the gravity control force necessary to move the vessel. The ultimate source of reference becomes the ZPF itself. It is envisioned that movement will be achieved by varying the strength of the field. Power System Power systems and Life Support will be located right below the passenger deck of the craft. Since GCT technology is a form of electrogravitic propulsion, power is one of the most important aspects of ship operations. First generation craft will employ fuel cell technology to generate operational power, with storage provided by superconducting energy storage devices. Second generation craft will derive power directly from the Zero-Point Field utilizing resonancecoupled plasma discharge technology being developed by GCT. The final power system characteristics are under review and will be determined by ship operating requirements. We estimate upper output levels to be on the order of 5,000 kilowatts. Life Support System Just like the Power System, life support is located right below the passenger deck of the craft. Over the course of the last 40 years, numerous life support systems have been developed for both the U.S. and Russian space programs. Because of the reliability of these systems, we have chosen not to develop a new one from the ground up. An appropriate system will be chosen once the final design specifications of the 'Corporate Voyager' craft have been established and based on experience gained during the manned prototype development phase. 3
4 Computer System The computer system will be constructed with off the shelf commercial processors and integrated circuits. Initial projections call for computation speed of at least 10 Teraflops, a unified memory of at least 10 terabyte, and real-time online storage of at least 200 terabytes. The computer system will be responsible for" managing flight control managing communications providing 3D imaging for all monitors and the view screen managing propulsion, power and life support functions providing navigational information, and and managing online library queries. Wide spread utilization of temperature-independent superconductors and optical communications is expected. Communications System Communications antennas will be located at the upper dome of the craft. It is believed that traditional RFbased methods will not be suitable for reaching the craft or sending messages from it. Instead, a resonance frequency tuned, Zero-Point Field coupled method is suggested which allows for real-time, distance-independent communication. Such a system is under development at Gravity Control Technologies and will eventually be used across all GCT engineered and built craft. Experience gathered during the unmanned prototype development will be used to determine final communications system characteristics. Gravity Elevator Movement between the 3 decks of the ship will be facilitated by the gravity elevator. In essence, the gravity elevator is like a traditional lift except that up and down movement is achieved by varying the flow direction of gravitational waves between the upper and lower projectors. When moving to the command deck from the passenger deck, one simply steps into the field (which will have the feeling of being in weightlessness) and selects the upward momentum. To travel to the lower deck, the downward polarity has to be selected. 4
