There were many people visiting that day, but at this instant the fox seems to be looking right at me. I m happy there were two layers of fencing between us. I hiked up to the mesa a couple of hours before sunset. It was a surreal setting, and I took lots of great pictures as the moon rose over the mountains. November Kaiyu Lu Beijing, China Hell s Gate National Park, Kenya, is named after a narrow break in the cliffs, once a tributary of a prehistoric lake that fed early humans in the Rift Valley. It is known for its wide variety of wildlife and for its scenery. December Ulrich Eberhardinger Waldbronn, Germany I shot this during our vacation in Croatia at the Kvarner Gulf. After a beautiful day in the Velebit National Park, with a breathtaking view across hundreds of islands in this bay, we enjoyed this sunset.
