HOW IS BIODIESEL PRODUCED? From new or used vegetable oil. New oil can be mixed with used oil and different vegetable oils can be mixed together. Also use waste animal fat from abbittoirs. Final waste product after converting process is called glycerol, which is used as industrial soap/ cleaner. 7 The main frac on of the PyroFuel process is diesel with a calorie value of approximately 44 Mj/kg The diesel consists only of hydrocarbons, with a 24% content of aroma c hydrocarbons. The diesel contains no oxygen The sulphur content is 400ppm and meets sulphur requirements Chlorine content is is low at 200 ppm Toxic heavy metal content is below the detec on limit of 1ppm Cetane figures differ from process to process, depending on what plas cs are used.
