2 A History of Customer Service For more than 80 years, Dallas Airmotive has dedicated itself to engine services. This is our business, our only business was a big year for aviation. Jimmy Doolittle set an airspeed record of 296 mph (476 km/h). Amelia Earhart became the first woman to pilot an aircraft nonstop across the United States. And Dallas Airmotive was founded at Dallas Love Field in Texas. Right from the start our focus was on engines. While much has changed in our industry over the years, one thing hasn t our dedication to engines. Over the years, we ve continually added engine OEM authorizations, services and increasingly sophisticated capabilities. We provide authorized service for the majority of turbine-powered business and general aviation aircraft with support that extends to every corner of the globe. We do the job right. The first time. Today, we re an around-the-clock, global service company using high-tech satellite connectivity to deliver rapid, efficient engine support for both AOG and routine maintenance. We re there when you need us. And we plan to be there for the next 80 years and beyond.

Awarded Pratt & Whitney Canada contracts for several military jet engines Received our first OEM authorizations from Pratt & Whitney for the JT3 and from Rolls-Royce for the Dart turboprop Dallas Airmotive became the first independent R&O company to receive FAA certification for turbine engine repair. 6 Acquired by BBA Group plc (now BBA Aviation plc), a global leader in aviation flight support and aftermarket services Authorized as a major service center for Honeywell TFE731 and Pratt & Whitney Canada overhaul facility for PW100 series. Acquired Airwork Corporation and BBA Group acquired H+S Aviation, Portsmouth, UK Acquired Gulfstream Engine Services (Dallas) and its authorizations for Honeywell engines and Hamilton Sundstrand APUs Added TFE731 core zone inspection (CZI) capability with the acquisition of Premier Turbines, a Honeywell-authorized heavy/overhaul facility Authorized by Pratt & Whitney Canada for repair and overhaul of the PW300 and PW500.
