2 Wyoming-Upper Green River Basin UGRB Non-attainment for Winter Time Ozone QEP Drill Rigs Operating on the Pinedale Anticline Engines are controlled with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCRs) Engines have air quality permits issued by Wyoming Dept. of Env. Quality (WDEQ) Pinedale Anticline 2

Engine Controls Three (3) engines per drill rig Each engine is equipped with one (1) E- POD SCR SCR s are used to control NO x emissions Urea is injected into exhaust stream

6 DATA MANAGEMENT IN ACTS ACTS Drill Rig Data Management Goal: Determine emissions, control percentages, and fuel usage by rig, engine, and completion on a daily basis But if that is the answer what is the question we are asking? What are the grand total emissions?... Yes and No We can ask specific questions of the data How long did a drill rig take to drill a well? What was the well with the largest fuel usage? What engine had the lowest control percentage? What drill rig has the highest emissions? What were the total NO x emissions on a particular day? What are the total emissions from one multi-well pad? 6
