3 Presentation 1 - The Duogard range. - The Duoguard range is available in 8 models (40, 60, 110, 150, 200, 300, 350, 450) ranging from 40 litres to 450 litres. - The models are designed for protection against burglary and fire and are certified to : EN European test against burglary attack. EN European test for one hour resistance against fire includind drop test. - Safe body. - The body of the safe is prepared with a hole for base fixing with a M12 dyna bolt. - The bolt cups are fully integrated and anchored into the safe body armour. - Safe door. - The door of the safe is fully demountable and can be opened up to 180 to allow a full clear passage. - The door includes a lock case which is fixed by BTR screws which provide access to the locks and boltwork. - locks and boltwork. - The door is equiped with a traditional three way moving bolwork mechanism which actions 3 à 6 lateral bolts according to the different models; in addition there is a moving upper bolt and a moving lower bolt. - The door can be equipped with one or two EN 1300 certified locks. - Key lock President A + mechanical combination S&G Key lock President A + electronic combination S&G D Drive Z03. - Interior fittings. 4 Tests and Certification 2 - The DuoGuard range has been tested and approved to the European standard as per the table below. 6 FIXING 4 INSTALLATION : Please ensure that the safe is correctly positionned and that the safe is level and flush; this will avoid any run of the door and will ensure a correct functioning and longevity of the door opening parts. 1- Position the safe in it s definitive place. 2- Ensure that the safe is level by using a spirit level. (use wedges if required) 3- Open the door, and check that there is no run (i.e. that the door is flush) If there is any run please review the wedging. wage - BASE FIXING - All DuoGuard models are prepared for base fixing. - A M12 dynabolt is included with the product. - Pour le perçage, suivre la procédure ci-dessus. 1-Remove the plastic cap and drill a hole in the floor to a minimum depth of 120 mm. 2-Blow to evacuate any dust. 3-Place the expansion bolt in the hole. 4- Tighten the expansion bolt using a torque wrench to150 NM. 5-Mettre en place le capuchon en plastique. page 6/14

8 Replacement of the handle Remove the 4 retaining screws. 2- throw the bolts and lock the lock in order to block the handle mechanism. 3- Remove the nut which hold the cam on the square spindle of the handle, then remove the cam. 4- Pull the handle towards the outside of the door in order to extract the handle. Nota : To replace the handle, follow the above steps in reverse order. page 8/14

9 7 Replacement of the Mauer President lock. 1- Remove the 4 retaining screws. 2- Remove the 4 M6 screws which hold the Mauer lock. 3- Remove the 2 fixing screws wich hold the locking angle plate. Nota : To replace the handle, follow the above steps in reverse order. page 9/14

10 Replacement of the electronic lock Remove the 4 retaining screws Remove the silver screw cover. 3- Unscrew the + screw from the key pad. 4- Pull the terminal to clear. 5- Unplug the cable connecting the terminal to the lock. 4 5 Screw 6- Remove the 3 lock fixing screws, and remove the lock from it s mounting plate. Nota : To replace the handle, follow the above steps in reverse order. page 10/14

11 Commissioning 9 - Commissioning of DuoGuard with key lock only. OPENING : 1- Swing the escutcheon to reveal the key hole. 2- Introduce the key verticaly into the key hole.(hole in key ring to the top) 3- Fully turn the key clockwise. NOTE: The key is held in position when the key is in unlock position. 4- Turn the handle fully clockwise. 5- Pull the door, the safe will now is open. CLOSING : 1- Push the door. 2- Turn the handle fully anti clockwise. 3- Fully turn the key anti clockwise then remove key. page 11/14

12 COMMISSIONING 9 - Commissioning of DuoGuard with d Z-Drive. BATTERY INSTALLATION : 1-Pull towards you the small blue tab. 2-Turn the black housing anticlockwise then pull towards you. 3-Connect the battery, then place it in the battery holder and push the black housing back into place, then turn to the right untill it locks in situ. OPENING : 1- Enter the ex factory master code #. 2- Turn the black housing fully clockwise. 3- Turn the handle fully clockwise. NOTE : For the modification of the factory code, please consulte the user manual supplied with this product. CLOSING : 1- Close the door. 2- Turn the handle anti clockwise. 3- Turn the black housing anti clockwise. page 12/14

13 COMMISSIONING 9 - Commissioning of DuoGuard with president key + D-Drive BATTERY INSTALLATION: (see page 12) OPENING OF THE D-DRIVE ELECTRONIC LOCK : 1- Enter the ex factory master code #. 2- Turn the black housing to the right until it comes to a complete stop. OPENING OF THE PRESIDENT LOCK : 1- Swing the escutcheon to reveal the key hole. 2- Introduce the key verticaly into the key hole.(hole in key ring to the top) 3- Turn the key untill it comes to a stop. NOTE: The key is held prisonner during the opening upper lock; the rotation is approximately from 12:00-16:00). 4- Turn the handle fully to the right up to the limit. 5- Pull the door, the safe is open. NOTE : For the modification of the factory code, please consulte the user manual supplied with this product. CLOSING : 1- Push close the door. 2- Turn the handle fully to the left up to the limit. 3- Turn the key to the left up to the vertical limit, and remove it. 4- Turn the black housing to the left as far as it will go. page 13/14

14 INSTALLATION OF SHELVES Insert the shelf fixing clips (4 per shelf) according to the height desired. 2- Position the shelf first of all on one side, and the on the other. 3- Check that the shelf is securely positioned before loading any object. page 14/14
