Production facilities are located in Haydock in the UK and Seingbouse in rance, with direct sales teams across urope and a dedicated export function. Pyroguard is 'irst in ire Glass', with the acronym 'irst' representing the following values: lexible our clients and users come first, which means we need to be flexible in every area of our operations, not just in terms of our range of fire glass solutions but in terms of service and support. 5 Classifications of fire resistant glass ire Glass Classifications according to current U standards Integrity No flames No gas No Heat reduction The ability of a glass when exposed to fire on one side to prevent the passage of flames or hot gases. W Radiation control No flames No gas Heat reduction The ability of a glass when exposed to fire on one side to perform to the standard of and, in addition, to reduce the passage of radiant heat to below 15 kw/m 2. I Insulation No flames No gas No heat The ability of a glass when exposed to fire on one side to perform to the standard of and, in addition, to restrict temperature rise on the unexposed face to below the required standard. 05/2016 3

6 of Pyroguard The extensive Pyroguard range allows us to respond to the vast majority of demands. Our products are identified by the following classifications as per N : 2007+A1: , W, I - and are available in single, double and triple glazed options. Pyroguard products also offer acoustic and impact performance. Tested in very large sizes, they are adaptable for architectural specifications allowing more light into buildings. The products are tested with numerous timber, steel and aluminium frames. Our technical team and our test furnace are strong assets for our business, this allows our partners to develop innovative and effective solutions with Pyroguard. Products are available to offer fire protection characteristic of 30 through to I180. Pyroguard Cuttable, stockable, laminated fire glass, available within short lead-times: Pyroguard W30 Impact: 7 mm thick, UV resistant, rated 2B2 impact, can be used internally and externally, easy to cut Pyroguard W30 Maxi: the largest tested size for a cuttable product at 30 minutes Pyroguard W30 Maxi Impact: achieves the highest level of impact protection of 1B1 to BS N Pyroguard D60: fire glass for British Standard fire doors Pyroguard I: offers I30 or I60 fire resistance, certified in timber, steel and aluminium applications Pyroguard T Toughened glass in fixed sizes. Monolithic or laminated products with one or more gel interlayers: A full range of resistant glass, from 30 to I180 including numerous W options Many certified applications utilising both steel and timber systems Large tested sizes available Double and triple glazing applications with flexibility to utilise glass counter panes from any glass manufacturer The maximum dimensions for the Pyroguard T range in terms of production are 2000 x 3600 mm for monolithic and intumescent, 2000 x 3500 mm for double and triple glazed and 1600 x 3350 mm for PVB laminates. 4 05/2016

10 Guide to using the applications tables Below is a case study to help you use the application tables that can be found on pages xample Internal partition between the entrance and the factory of the printing company Rapid Print in St Helens. This partition must meet the fire rating of 60 minutes integrity and insulation in in a concrete wall that is 6 m long and 2.3 meters high, it can be made from different elements.
