5 ANALOG PANELMETERS Analog Panelmeters ACMIDPAV Regulations and Standards Our meters and indicator/controllers comply with the regulations of the European Guidelines 73/23/EWG and 89/336/EVG. This is confirmed bby the compliance with the following standards: IEC/EN /A2.VDE /A1(Safety Regulations) IEC /EN /DIN EN (Meters with cale Display) EN :1993 EMC (Emitted Interference, Industries) EN :1995 EMC (Emitted Resistance, Industries) Given below are the most important regulations for the fabrication and the required properties of electrical meters. Terminal Protection Full sized polycarbonate back cover to provide protection against accidental contact (hand and fingers) acc. to VDE 0410, Safety Precautions 1. Instruments with damaged bezels or window glasses must be disconnected from the mains. 2. The back cover must be snapped into place after connector wires have been clamped for protection against accidental contact. 3. Scales may only be replaced under voltage-free conditions. 4. Bezels and window glasses may only be replaced under voltage-free conditions. 112

To which they are subjected during the course of type testing: Vibration Test Vibration testing must be performed with the following specifications: - Sweep frequency range: 10 Hz - 55 Hz - 10 Hz - Wave amplitude: 0.15 mm (corresponds to 1.5 g at 50 Hz) - Number of sweep cycles:5: - Sweep velocity 1 octave per minute The vibration plane is vertical and the measuing instrument is mounted to the vibration table in its usual operating positions. After exchanging the scale, carefully close the opening with the cover. 11 DI Digital Instruments Universal Electronic Ammeter Digital ammeter is used to measure the AC current that goes the meter on its ring circuit. It also can be used in other working condition that is on the purpose of current measuring. The max value of the instantaneous conveyanoc current should not ezceed 5A. The transforming rate of the can be set from 1/5A to 5000/5 with the panel pushbutton. When the power sutting over, the class value set can be kept in the meter and the meter can be working on this condition. The working power supply input terminals(1-2) and the measuring signal connection terminals (3-4)are on the back board of the meter and the display screen is on the font panel. Setting Of Current Transformer Ratio: 1. Press the key and then display screen will indicate the current value. 2. Press the ADD key (upwelling) or press the DOWN key (down welling) and select the needed rate After select the rate, when press the set key, the display screen will be dark for one time and the rate will be kept in the meter automatically. Attention: When press the button, the time must exceed 3 minutes or the operation will be of no effect. The max value of the instantaneous conveyance voltage should not exceed 600V The working power supply input terminals (3-4) and the measuring signal connection terminals (1-2) are on the back board of the meter and the display screen is on the front panel. Precautions For Installation And Safe Use Failure to follow those instruction will result in death or serious injury Disconnect all power before working on equipment. When the device is connected to the network, do not remove the front panel. Do not try to clean the device with so/vent or the like. Only clean the device with a dried cloth.
