5 JWB 100 Operator s Manual page Installation 1) Install the cone holders on the side of the machine. 2) Unbolt the wheel balancer from skid, lift it and put it carefully on flat and level ground. Ensure that it is stable on the ground and does not rock. Notice: Never lift the balancer by the spindle shaft. Otherwise, the shaft may be damaged permanently. 3) Install the threaded shaft on the main hub

7 JWB 100 Operator s Manual page Operation Upon turning on the balancer, it will display the model number and the firmware version while performing a self test. Then the screen will display And dynamic mode is set on default. 4.2 Inputting wheel data Before performing any balancing operation, you must enter in the wheel data accurately (ex: rim diameter: 15in, wheel width: 7.5in, rim distance: 55mm). Pressing T key can adjust the wheel diameter, width and wheel distance (fig 12), Press or key to adjust the data, detailed operation steps are as follows: Press T displays wheel width Lr 6.5, then press the up or down key to adjust the wheel width Press T the rim diameter displays 14, then press the up or down key to adjust the di data. Press T distance displays 75, pull out the indexing arm, and rest the head inside the wheel rim, press the up or down keys to match the reading on the scale. After inputting all the data, pull down the hood or press START to test. Fig. 12
8 8 4.3 Balance function select You can select different balancing modes by pressing the up or down arrow keys to move to the desired mode and pressing ENTER DYN balance Used for hammer/clip-on weights for alloy or steel wheels. 1. Put the wheel on the shaft, input wheel data,pull down the hood or press START to make the wheel rotate, the unbalance data displays after the wheel stops: 2. Rotate the wheel by hand, and center the outer positioning lights 3. Hammer-on the 30g counterweight lead onto the 12 o clock position of the rim. 4. Rotate the wheel by hand again, and repeat steps 2 and 3 for the other side STA balance Used to balance the wheel on a static plane and placing the counterweight on the single point on the rim or the proper positioned center. 1. Put the wheel on the shaft, input wheel data,pull down the hood or press START to make the wheel rotate, the unbalance data displays after the wheel stops: 2. Rotate the wheel by hand, and make the outer side balance indicator turn on in the middle. 3. Hammer-on or stick a weight on the inside, center or on the outside of the rim.
9 JWB 100 Operator s Manual page ALU balance Used for stick-on weights primarily for alloy wheels. Select ALU 1-5 depending on rim configuration and weight placement. ALU mode is measured in the same way as the DYN mode. 1. Press up or down to move to ALU, and press ENTER. 2. Continue to press the up key to scroll through the different ALU modes. 3. Press enter again to confirm selection.
10 M/C balance Motorcycle wheels can be balanced through the static mode, which divides the counterweight equally into two parts, and paste then onto the inner and outer side of the rim. But if the rim width exceeds 3, the user can use the motorcycle program which will also balance the wheel dynamically. Note: To use this function, user must purchase the motorcycle adapter, detailed operational instructions are included. 5.1 User menu To access the menu, Press then the T key within 2 seconds from each other. 5.2 Grams/Ounces From the user menu, press until you reach: Press ENTER to toggle between Grams and Ounces Press F to return.
11 JWB 100 Operator s Manual page Calibration Before beginning, ensure that the scale calibration is correct and mount a nominal sized wheel (preferably a balanced 14 ). Note: Correct wheel dimension must be entered accurately before entering spin calibration From the user menu, press until you reach: Press ENTER to go into the spin calibration program Pull down the hood or press START to begin the first spin Rotate the wheel to center the inside indicator, hammer on 100g on the inside 12 o clock position Pull down the hood or press START to begin the second spin Rotate the wheel to center the outside indicator, hammer on 100g on the outside 12 o clock position Pull down the hood or press START to begin the final spin The display reads when complete. Press F to return.
