1 Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere List of Equipment to be purchased under Shopping mode TEQIP II Last date for receipt of quotations: 5/2/25 Time 4:00 pm Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere invites sealed quotations for various items in the university departments through Shopping modes of purchase under TEQIP II scheme. You are invited to submit your most competitive quotation for the following goods with item wise detailed specifications given at Annexure I, 1. Government of India has received a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of the Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme [TEQIP]-Phase II Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to eligible payments under the contract for which this invitation for quotations is issued. 2. Quotation: 2.1 The contract shall be for the full quantity as described above. 2.2 Corrections, if any, shall be made by crossing out, initialing, dating and re writing. 2.3 All duties and other levies payable by the supplier under the contract shall be included in the unit price. 2.4 Applicable taxes shall be quoted separately for all items. 2.5 The prices quoted by the bidder shall be fixed for the duration of the contract and shall not be subject to adjustment on any account. 2.6 The Prices should be quoted in Indian Rupees only. 3. Each bidder shall submit only one quotation. 4. Quotation shall remain valid for a period not less than 30 days after the last date of quotation submission. 5. Evaluation of Quotations, The Purchaser will evaluate and compare the quotations determined to be substantially responsive i.e. which 5.1 are properly signed ; and 5.2 confirm to the terms and conditions, and specifications. 6. The Quotations would be evaluated for all items together. 7. Award of contract:

2 The Purchaser will award the contract to the bidder whose quotation has been determined to be substantially responsive and who has offered the lowest evaluated quotation price. 7.1 Notwithstanding the above, the Purchaser reserves the right to accept or reject any quotations and to cancel the bidding process and reject all quotations at any time prior to the award of contract. 7.2 The bidder whose bid is accepted will be notified of the award of contract by the Purchaser prior to expiration of the quotation validity period. The terms of the accepted offer shall be incorporated in the purchase order. 8. Payment shall be made in Indian Rupees as follows: Delivery and Installation - 90% of total cost Satisfactory Acceptance - 10% of total cost 9. All supplied items are under warranty of 12 months from the date of successful acceptance of items. 10. You are requested to provide your offer latest by 15:00 hours on 05-Feb Detailed specifications of the items are at Annexure I. 12. Training Clause (if any) Required for operation. 13. A strong iron stand fitted with wheels supports the complete test rig. The unit is moveable. All tanks are lined with FRP for total rust protection. Apparatus for calibration of venturimeter, orificemeter and rotameter a) The test rig consists of GI pipe lines for fitting a set of gunmetal venturimeter and orificemeter of size 25mm(1"), and of d/d Ratio = 0.6. The pipe has the venturimeter and orificemeter provided with the pressure tappings with quick change over cocks, and a flow control valve. A differential manometer (without mercury) is provided to measure the pressure difference across the flow meter to be tested. The pressure tappings are connected to a common manifold which in turn is connected to the manometer. A strong iron stand is provided for supporting the pipe lines. A stop watch and an M.S. collecting tank of size 90 liters. with a gauge glass scale fitting, a drain valve and a bend are provided to measure the actual flow rate. b) A rotameter of range 5 to 55 lpm is connected with the other flow meters to indicate directly the flow rate. c) A 220 volt AC, 0.5 HP, single phase monoblock ISI pumpset with suitable pipe fittings, strainer foot valve, and switch is provided to supply water to the test rig. d) A sump tank of size 200 liters with suitable drain is provided to store the water. A strong iron stand fitted with wheels supports the complete test rig. The unit is moveable. All tanks are lined with FRP for total rust protection. 7 Mech Pelton Wheel Turbine Test Rig (1 KW capacity 5HP supply pump) a) Test rig consists of a Pelton wheel water Turbine, designed for laboratory experimental purposes and to conduct test in metric units. The specifications of the turbine are as follows:- Design Speed RPM. Output Power KW The turbine consists of a cast iron body with a large transparent acrylic window, a nozzle and spear arrangement, a rotor assembly of shaft, runner and a brake drum all mounted on a sturdy base frame. The Pelton buckets and nozzle are made of gunmetal and the spear made of brass for corrosion resistance. The input to the turbine is controlled by adjusting the spear position with a hand wheel. A rope brake arrangement with a spring 1 each

7 balance is provided for loading the turbine. The transparent perspex sheet side casing is provided for visual observation of flow on the buckets. Water inlet pressure is measured by a pressure gauge. b) Water to the turbine is provided by a centrifugal monoblock pump set of 5 HP capacity. The pump operates on 440Volts, 3 Phase, 50 Hz line. c) Other standard accessories include a DOL starter, switch, flow control gate valve, suitable piping. d) Flow measuring unit consists of a venturimeter with pressure taps connected to two pressure gauges mounted on a panel board. e) The complete test rig is mounted on a storage tank of suitable capacity. The tank is provided with FRP lining for total rust protection. 2. Francis Turbine Test Rig (1 KW capacity 5HP supply pump) a) Test rig consists of a Francis water turbine designed for laboratory experimental purpose and to conduct test in metric units. The specifications of the turbine are as follows:- Normal Speed RPM. Capacity KW The unit consists of a cast iron casing, a rotor assembly of shaft, gunmetal runner and a brake drum all mounted on a suitable sturdy base. Guide vanes are provided in the turbine to regulate the flow into the runner. A conical draught tube is connected to the turbine outlet by a bend. A rope brake arrangement with a spring balance is provided for loading the turbine. Pressure gauge and vacuum gauge are fixed at the inlet and outlet to measure the net supply head to the turbine. b) Water to the turbine is provided by a centrifugal pump set of 5 HP capacity. Kaplan Turbine Test Rig (1 KW capacity 5HP supply pump) a) Test rig consists of a Kaplan turbine designed for laboratory experimental purposes and to conduct test in metric units. The specifications of the turbine are as follows: Normal Speed RPM. Capacity KW The unit consists of a cast iron casing, a rotor assembly of shaft, an axial flow gunmetal runner and a brake drum all mounted on a suitable sturdy base. The runner has vanes of aerofoil section. Fixed guide vanes are provided in the turbine to regulate the flow into the runner. A conical draught tube is

8 connected to the turbine outlet by a bend. For observing the flow at the runner exit a transparent window made of thick perspex tube is provided in between the turbine casing and the draft bend. A rope brake arrangement with a set of dead weights and spring balance is provided for loading the turbine. Pressure gauge and vacuum gauge are fixed at the inlet and outlet to measure the net supply head to the turbine. b) Water to the turbine is provided by a centrifugal pump set of 5HP capacity.
