1 Product information Brief introduction photo DMP305X differential pressure transmitter has brought the measurement to a whole new level. A new generation of microprocessor and surface mounted technology transmission module, collect and process the signal of differential pressure sensor. A built-in absolute pressure sensor and temperature sensor, modify the process errors while measurement,comprehensively enhance the performance of differential pressure transmitter. The newest external operational key design, it's easy to operate the parameter settings with 3 operational key,to meet the safe operation demands in dangerous situations. You could use the HART manual controller or the HART software to complete measurement information configuration remotely. 20 Gauge and Absolute pressure measurement Theory DMP305X used for Pressure measurement. Based on different reference, Pressure can be divided into gauge pressure and absolute pressure. Compound pressure means the range of gauge pressure between pressure lower and higher than current ATM. Reference pressure is current ATM. DP transmitter is used to measuring low pressure, measuring range: -100kPa to 2MPa, minimum measuring range value: 500Pa output signal corresponding to the measured pressure values. Absolute pressure reference is absolute vacuum, Common measuring range: 0-2MPa, minimum measuring range value: 5kPa output signal corresponding to the measured pressure values. 21 Differential pressure measurement Theory DMP305X used for differential pressure measurement. DP transmitter is used to low differential pressure measurement. As it s features of high static pressure, high overload and high accuracy, both low pressure terminal and high pressure terminal can be consider as reference terminal and measuring terminal. Common measuring range: -2MPa to 2MPa, minimum measuring range value: 200Pa, max. static pressure and pressure: 40MPa according to formula P=PH-PL or 00P=PL-PH, 4-20 output signal corresponding to the measured differential pressure values. 22 Differential pressure level measurement Theory Static pressure in closed vessels changes often. It could be cleared up by making both low pressure terminal and high pressure terminal of DP transmitter contact with it. According to formula P=pgh, the height of liquid level are linear with differential pressure value. 24 Gas flow measurement Theory DP transmitter equipped with throttling orifice plate is used to measuring gas flow in high static pressure pipe in process industry. According to formula Qv=k(Dp/pr)1/2 and Qm=k(dpxpr)1/2,, volume flow value and mass flow value are linear with differential pressure value. DMP305X is used to measuring gas flow output signal corresponding to the measured gas flow values.
