3 I range Sealed pushbutton switches Custom products APEM s vertical integration and engineering expertise have led to the development of custom switches. Example 1 shows a catalogue product adapted to meet a specific need. Examples 2 & 3 show products entirely developed to customer s specifications and produced with specific tooling. Example 1 - Customized product based on an IP pushbutton Wire protection Connectors Marking Example 2 - IL pushbutton, customized product based on an IS pushbutton Compared to a standard IS switch, this pushbutton has a longer threaded bushing allowing mounting onto a thicker panel. This illuminated pushbutton also features a thinner bezel for compact matrix mounting. Example % custom product based on an IP pushbutton : dia. 17 mm actuator A firm specialized in satellite locating systems asked APEM for a large pushbutton with a dia. 17 mm actuator. This emergency pushbutton was intended to be used in trucks and to be the interface of an embedded electronic box. The APEM solution was a normally closed IP-based custom product.
