3 1: Plug Lift to Wall A) Pull the power cord out of one of the two holes in the bottom of the cabinet. Choose the exit hole that will be nearest your wall outlet. PULL Wall Outlet Fig. 1 B) HEAVY! 4 2: Raise Lift A) Turn power on by toggling the switch to the ON position. Fig. 3 B) Using the remote, press and release the UP button on the remote control unit. UP BUTTON Fig. 4 C ) With the lift completely in the up position, turn the lift OFF on the manual control box. Fig. 5 4 of 11

5 3: Mounting Your TV A) Remove the stand from your TV. B) Measure the overall height of your TV without the stand /8 Fig. 6 C) Adjust vertical push arm to the measurement calculated in B + add 3/4 by loosening the bolts, raising to position and tightening. This will allow the push arm to sit just above your TV. Fig. 7 D) Measure the distance from the bottom of your TV to the middle of the threaded inserts on the back of your TV. Note: Use the top two threaded inserts and not the bottom. Fig. 8 EXAMPLE: E) Add 1/4 to that dimension. 5 of 11

6 F) Adjust horizontal mounting bracket to the measurement calculated in E by manually raising or lowering the horizontal TV bracket. Your measurement should be from the small TV platform to the center of the slot on the TV bracket as shown in Fig. 8. Horizontal TV Bracket Adjust Fig /4 (As Fig. 8) TV Height Small TV Platform G) Raise the lift in the up posistion, using two people, place TV on the small TV platform and attach to horizontal TV bracket, using the supplied plastic caps, washers, and bolts.! WARNING HEAVY! You will need assistance with this step. You should not feel resistance when threading bolts into the back of the televisions. 7 H) Plug TV into the outlet located on the manual lift. Make sure you zip tie the wire so it does not get tangled during movement. Do not plug the TV into any other outlet to avoid wire tangling. Fig. 11 I) Turn lift on by toggling manual control switch to the ON position. Fig of 11

8 J) Using the remote control, drive the lift down into the cabinet (Fig. 13). The lift will always swivel left to right before going down. Fig. 13 Wire management clip! CAUTION Watch carefully to see that all wires and cords are not rubbing on the lift and or cabinet and that they are not being pulled. Use the two wire management clips as needed to keep wires from being tangled or entrapped. K) Step 1: Loosen the top center plastic bolt (do not remove) Plastic Bolt Side view Use allen Key Step 2: Raise the lift up. Turn the allen clockwise on the side that is too low. Check for level and continue turning the allen screw until unit is level. Fig of 11

9 4. Syncing your RF Remote Our remote controls are programmed to lock if any of the 5 buttons are pushed and held for 5 seconds. Proper operation of the remote is to press and release the buttons, Therefore, if the remote is accidentally locked or loses sync with the machine, you will need to re-sync RF syncing steps a. Run the lift to the down position. b. Turn the lift to the OFF position on the the contol...boxinside the cabinet. c. Wait 60 seconds for the power to drain out of the lift....*steps 4-5 must be done within 2 seconds of each other....we suggest keeping one hand on the OFF button while......keeping the other on the UP button so these steps can...be done quickly. d. Push and hold the button on the remote...( you must push and HOLD the up button)... e. While keeping the up button depressed QUICKLY,...turn the lift back on. f. Plug the IR receiver into the control box. b. Point the IR remote at the IR reciever. c. Simutaneously press up and down, release the up and down buttons,... simultaneously press up and down, release the up and down buttons,... simultaneously press up and down, release the up and down buttons. d. The IR remote should be programmed after 3-4 simultaneous presses and releases.... IMPORTANT: Once you program the IR remote, you should not use the RF remote or you will reprogram the lift to the RF remote. 9 of 11

10 Replacing your Remote Control Battery... a.. With the battery comparment on the right hold.slide the battery compartment open by sliding...toward the right. b. Keep the remote control face down, insert the new...battery into the compartment with the plus symbol...(+) facing up. c. Gently slide the battery compartment closed, it will...lock automatically. Battery Specification: CR VOLTS IR remote requires 1 battery while the RF remote requires 2 batteries. 7. Installing Your Components a. Plug this cable into your equipment. HDMI CABLE b. The lift has 2 HDMI ports. Using your 3 foot or smaller cable, plug your HDMI cable into the lift and the other end into our TV. Note: Do not run any cable other than the pre -wired or you may get them entangled on the lift. 2-HDMI INPUT 10 of 11

11 8. Infrared System (IR) Take control of your components Infrared components require line of sight to operate via remote control. The TV Lift Cabinet infrared products provide a window from your handheld remote to your components that are out of the line of sight enclosed in our cabinetry. Our Plasma/LCD/LED friendly IR receivers are compact and blend into our furniture very well. While many consider infrared products to be accessories, TVLiftCabinet has a different approach. We view all products as integral parts of the overal system. Therefore, all TV Lift Cabinet IR products are pre-installed with simple connections, engineered to integrate with a vast number of products and designed to perform with exceptional reliability. Simply install your components on shelves that contain an emitter (equipment must be 1 or more behind the emitter) and you will have full control of that equipment from behind closed doors.
