2 AUTOMATIC EJECTORS v, 15amp NEMA 5-15P 12v, 250v, 15amp NEMA 6-15P 120v, 20amp NEMA 5-20P AUTO EJECT WP AUTOMATIC POWER LINE DISCONNECT CONNECTORS Highly reliable, industrial grade connectors, specially selected to function reliably with the Auto Ejects are provided with each unit. The Dynamic Disconnect is a coupling device wired between an Auto Eject and the vehicle and serves to only connect the A.C. power after the plug has been inserted into the Auto Eject. Upon vehicle startup the Dynamic Disconnect opens the load circuit before ejecting the plug. By providing the time delays on both application and removal of power, no arcing can occur at the connector. Note A.C.power must be present at the shore line connector in order to operate the Dynamic Disconnect ENCLOSURE The enclosure is fabricated from aluminum and contains a cutout and captive fasteners to mate with the Auto Eject mounting screws. Providing protection from road dirt and damage, this unit is suggested for all Auto Eject installations in which the mechanism is exposed to the elements or subject to damage. Outline Drawing: 012 OPTIONAL RETRACTILE CORD The retractile cord is a #12 or 14AWG, 3 conductor cord with an extended length of 20 ft. The Auto Eject connector may be installed at the other end to make this the ideal power input cable. The Auto Eject WP is a power input connector designed to be mounted in the side of a vehicle to permit connecting a 12 Volt D.C., 120 Volt A.C. or 250 Volt A.C. shore line. It comes with a weatherproof cover. The cover is spring loaded to close, preventing water from entering when the shore line is not connected. A solenoid wired to the vehicle s starter or dynamic disconnect is energized when the engine is started. This instantaneously drives the plug from the receptacle. This simple reliable device eliminates forever the broken cables which result when drivers forget to remove the shore line before driving away. The Auto Eject, is new and improved and now contains solid connector pins for longer life. Power output connections are made via a screw terminal strip to permit the installer to easily connect any length of wire. The Super Auto Eject is a completely sealed automatic power line disconnect. This prevents contamination of the mechanism by road dirt and insures long reliable life even when mounted in the most severe environment. A novel internal switch arrangement closes and opens the 120 volt A.C. circuit after the mating connector is inserted and before the connector is ejected. This eliminates arcing at the connector contacts and assures long contact life. As with all Auto Ejects, the Super Auto Eject is connected to the starter circuit so that ejection occurs when the engine is cranked. BACK WIRE option For installation areas that need the wires to come from the rear of the Auto Eject. Just add -BW to the end of the part number when ordering.
