REPLACED BOTH UPSHIFT AND DOWN SHIFT SWITCHES AND INSTALLED COVER. COMPLAINT: HOOD WON'T OPEN CAUSE: SWITCH FAILED CORRECTION: CHECKED POWER AND THE SWITCH HAD POWER BUT IT WASN'T GOING THROUGH WHEN ACTIVATED. JUMPED THE SWITCH AND OPEN THE HOOD. REPLACED THE SWITCH AND LOWERED THE HOOD. COMPLAINT: ADD COOLANT ADDITIVE CAUSE: COOLANT SAMPLE CORRECTION: COOLANT SAMPLE SHOED THAT IT NEEDED ADDITIVE ADDED TO THE COOLANT. INSTALLED 2 BOTTLES OF ADDITIVE. COMPLAINT: STEERING CYLINDER LEAKING CAUSE: ROD SEAL LEAKING CORRECTION: REMOVED RIGHT CYLINDER AND TOOK BACK TO THE SHOP TO GET RESEALED. INSTALLED CYLINDER AND FILLED WITH OIL. COMPLAINT: EXTERNAL LEAKS. CAUSE: SCRATCHES IN ROD. CORRECTION: TOOK THE CYLINDER APART. TOOK THE ROD ASSEMBLY APART. TOOK THE SEALS OUT OF THE HEAD AND OFF THE PISTON. WASHED THE HEAD AND PISTON. BEAD BLASTED THE HEAD AND PUT BACK IN WASH. THE ROD HAD SOME SCRATCHES IN IT. TOOK THE ROD OVER TO THE MACHINE SHOP TO HAVE IT POLISHED AND A BEVEL MACHINED INTO THE END OF THE ROD. CHECKED THE HEAD AND PISTON FOR SCRATCHES AND WEAR, THEY BOTH WERE OK. HONED THE BARREL. WHEN STARTED THE BARREL MEASURED 4.501". WHEN FINISHED THE BARREL MEASURED 4.502". INSTALLED THE SEALS IN THE HEAD AND ON THE PISTON. ASSEMBLED THE ROD ASSEMBLY, TORQUED THE NUT TO 2400 FT. LBS. WITH RED LOCTITE. ASSEMBLED THE CYLINDER AND TESTED. THE CYLINDER TESTED OK AT THIS POINT IN TIME, NO LEAKS OR DRIFTING. STAMPED THE CYLINDER. LOADED THE CYLINDER FOR JOSH HUNNINGHAKE. COMPLAINT: POLISH AND BEVEL
