8 Chapter 5, Disassembly MCS Service Manual Weigher Arm for 7 valve device (110V) for 8 valve device (230V) Load Cell Assembly Manifold, 8 Valve Keps Nuts (3 places) Figure 5-6, Weigher Arm and Load Cell Sensor (note: seven valve device used as an example) Weigher Arm (old style) Note: To gain better access to the weigher arm, first remove the centrifuge assembly. 1. Remove the Rear Panel. 2. Using channel locks to grasp the top weigher standoff, unscrew the (1) Phillips head screw from the top of the weigher arm. Weigher Arm (new style) Note: 1. Loosen the set screw which secures the dowel pin in the arm. 2. Push the dowel pin out of the weigher arm assembly. Remove the weigher arm from the load cell assembly. Use a drop of purple loctite on the set screw when reattaching the arm to the load cell. 5-13
