1 HASPORT PERFORMANCE Installation Instructions For: Part Number FG4STK stock replacement mounts for 2012 up Honda Civic Si Hasport Performance mounts and mount kit accessories are designed in house using the latest in CAD/CAM Engineering software. The designs are the result of many years of pioneering Honda engine swaps and Hasport s extensive racing experience. Each mount is constructed of lightweight 6061-T6-billet aluminum and CNC machined in our state of the art machining facility. Hasport Performance motor mounts control engine movement, transferring more power to the wheels. All mounts and brackets have a limited lifetime warranty against any defects. The mounts are designed to replace the stock engine mounts in the 2012 and up Honda Civic equipped with the K24Z7 engine. Please read through the entire instructions before installing these parts. 3 Please read all instructions before proceeding with the installation The FG4STK mount kit is for replacement of the stock left, right and rear engine mounts of the 2012 and up Honda Civic Si. They cannot be used to perform a K-series engine swap into the other models of 2012 and up Honda Civic. The FG4STK mount kit is designed to control engine movement in high horsepower applications. This should help reduce wheel hop caused by engine movement, and reduce stress on components such as exhaust and intercooler connections. Because the mounts are stiffer, vibration may result. Replace the Rear Mount First: 1 Remove the rear torque rod style mount by removing 1) the bolt through the mount and subframe and 2) the two bolts through mount and oil pan bracket. 3) Slide the mount down and forward. Save the long 14mm bolt to use with the new mount. 2 Remove the oil pan bracket by removing the four 12mm bolts holding it the oil pan Save these bolts to use with the new bracket. 3 Slide the new mount into the subframe making sure the side labelled top is pointing up. Slide it in as deep as possible to make room for installing the oil pan bracket. 4 Install the Hasport rear bracket on the oil pan using the stock bolts. Orient the bracket with the H logo on the right hand side. Torque the bolts to 47 ft/lbs

4 Replace the Rear Mount First: 5 Slide new mount down and connect it to the oil pan bracket using the 12mm x 70mm bolt two 12mm washers and nylon nut. Loosely tighten the bolt at this time. 6 Install the long 14mm bolt through the subframe and rear mount. You may need to rock the bottom of the engine to the rear to get the bolt and hole to line up. Torque to 69 ft/lbs. Torque the bolt that connects the rear mount to the rear bracket to 47 ft/lbs. Left-hand Mount: Getting to the Mount Start by removing the air cleaner, battery, ECU and ECU bracket. For more detailed instructions, consult the Helms service manual for the Civic Si. Support the transmission from underneath using a jack and wood block. Place the jack and wood towards the rear of the trans under the differential. 1 Remove the stock mount and bracket as a unit. Start by removing the 6mm bolt that holds the ground. Next remove the 12mm nuts and one bolt that hold the transmission bracket to the transmission.

5 Left-hand Mount: 2 Next remove the bolts that attach the mount to the frame rail. Save the bolts for use with the Hasport mount bracket. After all three bolts have been removed you can take the engine mount and bracket out as one piece. 3 With the mount is out, remove the two studs from the transmission that the factory transmission bracket bolted to. This will help when installing the new mount and bracket. The studs can be left in, but will increase the difficulty installing the mount if the engine is already in the car. 4 Assemble the Hasport mount in the Hasport bracket, it will be easier to install this way. Leave the through bolt loosely tightened at this time. 5 Install the new bracket on the frame rail using the same bolts that were used to mount the stock transmission mount. Make sure you thread the bolts into the frame rail all the way to avoid cross threading them. Install the front most bolt first. A wobble extension with 17mm socket will help you to install the front bolt in the bracket. Thread the bolts fully, but leave them loose at this time. 6 Install the transmission mount on the transmission using the two M12 x 55mm and one M12 x 35mm bolts. 7 Use the flange washer on the front bolt and orient it towards the frame rail. Loosely tighten the bolts at this time. To properly line up the mount you may have to shift the engine forward during the installation process. If the engine isn t supported properly it may shift and make aligning the mount more difficult. Do not cross thread the bolts. Thread the bolts fully but leave them loose at this time.

6 Right-hand Mount: Making it easier Remove the bolt that attaches the AC line bracket to the car in back of the right-hand mount. Also remove the bolt holding the brake line bracket in the same area. This will allow you to move the AC and brake lines slightly to ease installation of the new bracket. Using the jack and wood block that was under the transmission support the engine from underneath. 1 To remove the right-hand mount start by removing the upper torque rod. You may discard these bolts. 2 Next remove the ground cable and the aluminum side engine bracket. Save these bolts for use with the new Hasport mount. 3 Now remove the side brace that connects the stock mount to the side of the engine bay. Save both the side brace and its hardware. 4 Now unbolt and remove the mount. It may be easier to get the mount past the AC and brake lines if you flip it over. Save the hardware for use with the new mount. 5 Put the Hasport right-hand mount into the right-hand bracket and insert the M12 x 120mm bolt throughout he mount and bracket. Because of the ABS and other parts in the car it would be impossible to insert the bolt after the mount and bracket is installed. Loosely tighten the M12 Nylok nut at this time.

7 Right-hand Mount: 6 Install the new bracket and mount. You may have to pull the AC hose and brake lines gently out of the way to allow the mount and bracket to drop in. Use the stock mount bolts to attach the bracket to the frame rail. You ll probably need to use an extension with a 17mm socket to thread the bolts in. Thread the bolt in by hand fully to avoid cross threading them. Do not tighten the bolts completely at this time. 7 Using the stock M14 bolt, thread the bolt through the mount into the engine bracket. Next thread the M14 nut onto the engine bracket stud with with the threaded flange washer. Loosely tighten the bolt and nut at this time. 8 Slide the bracket as far to the rear as possible and then attach the Hasport brace to the rear of the bracket using the two M8 button head cap screws. The rear of the bracket attaches where the torque mount used to attach using the M12 x 35mm bolt. Tighten loosely at this time. 9 Install the side brace and bolt it to the side of the engine bay and to the new bracket. Use the stock hardware, and leave the bolt to the side wall loose at this time. Finish: Wrapping it up Take a quick look at all the mounts and see if everything looks square. If not, support the engine from underneath and loosen the problem mount or bracket and straighten it. Shifting the engine forward or backwards usually helps with alignment problems. This should be easy since the mounts should still all be loose.

8 Finish: 1 Once you are satisfied everything looks good, torque all the mount and bracket bolts. Start with the right-hand, then left hand. Use these torque values. M14 bolts 54 ft/lbs M12 bolts 47 ft/lbs M10 bolts 36 ft/lbs M8 bolts 16 ft/lbs 2 Re attach the AC line and brake line brackets. Torque the M6 bolts to 6 ft/lbs. 3 Connect the left and right side ground wires to the threaded flange washers on the left and right mounts. Torque the M6 bolts to 6 ft/lbs 4 Re install the ECU bracket, ECU, air box and battery. Because the ECU was disconnected from power during the installation process, it needs to relearn the idle and crank position. After starting the engine, with AC and heat off, let it idle for at least 10 minutes after the cooling fan turns on. Then rev the car for just few seconds at the rev limiter. The car is ready to drive now.
