1 SE 2O3O Standard Features FACT FalseA larm Control and Test An ex clu sive and pat ented Clif ford in no va tion that ab so lutely, posi tively puts an end to re cur ring false alarms. Here's how it works: If an im prop erly ad justed sen sor causes the alarm to sound, the SE 2030 mi cro proc es sor will auto mati cally check for an otherac ti vated trig ger bef ore sound ing the si ren a sec ond time. Should the alarm sound again the owner will know for sure that some one is tam per ing with the ve hi cle. Smart AutoTesting Every time the sys tem is re motely armed, it in stantly and auto mati cally per forms com pre hen sive test ing of all sys tem trig gers and sen sors. If a mal func tion is found, the s ys tem will audi bly and visu ally alert the owner of the prob lem and spe cifi cally iden tify the mal func tion ing trig ger or sen sor, vir - tu ally elimi nat ing costly trouble- - shooting time. TotalRecall SE 2030's non- - volatile mem ory auto mati cally stores and per mits you to re call the iden tity of the last trig ger or sen sor ac ti vated while the sys tem was armed. This pro vides an in valu able informational and di ag nos tic means. Built--In Parking Light Flasher No ex ter nal re lays. Just con nect one wire (some Euro pean ve hi cles re quire the ad di tion of op tional di odes). Door Lock/Unlock Outputs In ter faces di rectly with nega tive switch ing door lock con figu ra tion (some ve - hi cle re quire an op tional URAD mod ule). MultiRemote Recognition For other driv ers, a few flicks of a switch lets you or the owner match up to four Clif ford re mote con trols to the sys tem re gard less of type, code or number of chan nels. Just as eas ily, the code of a lost or sto len re mote con trol can be deleted. Smart Door Trigger For get about po lar ity con ver tors and sepa rate posi tive and nega tive inputs. Just make one con nec tion. If the door trig ger is positive- - switching, a few flicks of a switch is all that is needed. Automatic High/Low Feature No spe cial test ing or con nec tions. SE 2030 auto mati cally rec og nizes de lay cour tesy light ing and ad justs it self to read the door in put when the in te rior light turns off. SmartPowerUp Elimi nates noise in the in stal la tion bay. Dual--Button/Triple--Channel Remote Control But ton I con trols the se cu rity fea tures: It will arm, dis - arm, lock and un lock the doors, and, in an emer gency, panic the SE 2030 from a typi cal range o f 100 feet. But - ton II can ac ti vate con ven ience options such as re mote win dow and sun roof con trol, head light ac ti va tion, the ve hi cle's trunk re lease, an elec tric ga rage door or even re motely start the car's en gine, heater, de froster or air con di tioner. Press both but tons and SE 2030 will si lently arm or dis arm with out the usual si ren chirps. AntiScan Pro fes sional thieves de feat run- - of- - the- - mill car alarms with code- - generating scanners that rap idly trans mit one re mote con trol code af ter an other. The SE 2030's AntiS can elec troniccoun ter mea sure rec og nizes scan ners and blocks the codes to pre vent dis arm ing of the alarm by any one ex cept the vehicle owner. Two--Car Control The owner can com mand two Clif ford equipped ve hi cles with the same remote con trol. Triple--Mode Chirp Silencing When ever the sys tem is armed or dis armed with the re mote con trol, the si ren will audi bly chirp and the park ing lights will flash to con firm sys tem status. When ever the cus tomer wishes, he or she may si lence the chirps with any of these three meth ods: Long--Term Chirp Si lenc ing A few flicks of a switch is all it takes to si lence the chirps un til the owner de - cides to re ac ti vate them. One- - Cycle Chirp Mut ing When park ing in a quiet resi den tial area, a quick flick of the car's ignition switch will mute the chirps for one arm- - and- - disarm cy cle, af ter which the chirps are auto m ati cally re - stored. Re mote Controlled Chirp Mut ing The owner can even mute the chirps on the fly from out side the car with out any pre- - planning! Just a press on both but tons of the re mote con trol does the trick. SmartDoors Pro vides all the fol low ing safety and con ven ience fea tures: Re mote Door Lock/Un lock Out puts No more fum bling with keys in the dark or bad weather! One press of a but ton on the re mote con trol si mul ta ne ously arms the sys tem and locks all doors. Another press dis - arms and un locks. (Some ve hi cles re quire an op tional adap tor.) AutoLock For se cu rity and safety, SE 2030 auto mati cally locks all the ve hi cle doors when the ig ni tion is turned on. Aut oun Lock Con versely, when the ig ni tion is turned off, the doors auto mati cally un lock. (The cus - tomer can en able or dis able this fea ture at will). Re mote Keyless En try in Valet Mode The re mote con trol may be used to lock/un lock the car doors and ac ti vate any re mote ac ces sory even while the sys tem is in valet mode A/80-055/SE2030In stall/193 1

2 Malfunction AutoBypass In the un likely event of a trig ger or sen sor mal func tion, SE 2030 will auto - mati cally by pass it and arm all other points to con tinue re lent less pro tec tion of the ve hi cle. Dual--Level Tampering Warn ing The owner can set the sys tem to is sue a rapid five- - chirp warn ing when - ever SE 2030 de tects any tam per ing to the ex te rior of the ve hi cle. If there is any fur ther tam per ing, or if the hood, trunk or a door is opened at any time, SE 2030 will sound a con tinu ous 125dB si ren blast. Smart Prior Intrusion Attempt Alert When re motely dis armed, SE 2030 audi bly and visu ally alerts the owner from a dis tance if an in tru sion at tempt was foiled while he or she was away. It even iden ti fies the spe cific trig ger or sen sor that de tected the at tempt. Enhanced AutoArming SE 2030 will arm it self auto mati cally ( pas sively ) if the owner for gets. This may qualify him or her for an in sur ance dis count that may pay for the cost of the sys tem. AutoArming Enable/Disable The owner may deactivate or reactivate AutoArming with a few flicks of a switch. Vis ual Ac knowl edg ment AutoArming is con firmed with two flashes of the park ing lights. AutoArm & Lock The owner may set SE 2030 to auto mati cally lock the doors upon AutoArming. Advanced CMOS Microcomputer Very large scale in te gra tion (VLSI) mi cro proc es sor com mands and moni tors all sys tem functions more than 100,000 times per sec ond, yet draws less power than the ve hi cle's clock. Fault--Proof Starter Interrupt Pre vents an in truder from start ing the en gine, but al lows the owner to start it even in the event of a full sys tem failure (other alarms may leave the owner stranded). Magnetic Resonance Sensor Con verts vi bra tions caused by in tru sion at tempts into elec tro mag netic flux to de liver re li able elec tronic de tec tion and wider- - perimeter pro tec tion that other alarm sen sors. High--Output Siren Loud 125dB si ren scream. If a door is left open in the wake of an in tru sion, SE 2030 lim - its alarm sound ing to 3 cy cles of the siren du ra tion, en sur ing against ex ces sive bat tery drain or tow ing of the ve hi cle due to noise pol lu tion. It then re- - arms all other points to pro vide the ut most pos si ble pro tec tion. User- - Selectable Siren Du ra tion The owner may set the siren wail for ei ther 30 or 60 sec onds. LED Status Indicator Adds vis ual de ter rence and iden ti fies armed, dis armed, pro gram ming and valet modes. Full--Time Remote Panic Feature For safety, the owner can re motely ac ti vate the siren and flashing park - ing lights, even while the en gine is run ning. Hood/Trunk Trigger In put Al lows for full pe rime ter pro tec tion of the en gine com part ment and trunk con - tents. Secured Valet Mode Per mits ve hi cle serv ic ing and valet park ing with out re lin quish ing the re mote con - trol. Lifetime Warranty This is one fea ture the owner will proba bly never use since Clif ford sys tems are re - nowned for their re li abil ity. For as long as he or she owns the ve hi cle, Clif ford will re pair or re place the se cu - rity com po nents free of charge un like other alarm manu fac tur ers that charge proc ess ing fees and han- dling charges.
