2 ELASTIMOLD FEATURES AND BENEFITS The Elastimold brand is recognised as the leading producer of premoulded cable accessory components worldwide. Utilising specially formulated materials with 100% peroxide-cured insulation and shielding, Elastimold products represent the state-of-the-art in premoulded process technology. Durable, quality construction and non-degrading, high-reliability, maintenance-free performance is assured when specifying Elastimold products. Elastimold separable Elbow Connectors and their related accessories are available in 250amp Loadbreak, 250amp Deadbreak and 630amp Deadbreak styles. These styles can be used for padmount, subsurface, vault, indoor, outdoor and other applications. Units feature interchangeable interfaces which can be easily engaged or separated to provide a convenient method to connect or disconnect cable and equipment in a distribution system. Cable Joints (Splices) and Terminations are available in crimped or shear bolted connector styles. Joints (Splices) are rated the same as the cable they are connecting and are available for all applications including direct buried. The cold applied Ranger 2 Cable Terminations are available in sets of three single or Three Phase (core) designs. Units include provisions for de-energised operation using standard hotstick tools. It has a standard Class A Pin interface for connecting to 15/25kV, 200/250Amp dead-break bushing inserts, junctions and other accessories. The 156LR is equipped with an integral voltage. The K455 series can be used through 22 kv with conductor range from 35mm² up to 630mm² for Aluminum and Copper conductors and insulation diameters from 13.8mm to 41.4mm. When used on metallic tape shield or drain wire cable, a 20MA or 21MA grounding device or an ECS cable seal is recommended. Complies with IEEE386 and AS2629.
