4 PROGRESSIVE LUBRICATION SYSTEMS The DPA progressive divider valve system is the most versatile of the single line lubrication systems. It can be used with oils from 15cST to greases up to & including NLGI GRADE 2. It can be operated at pressures up to 300 BAR & can be operated at 300 cycles per minute. Individual metering elements come in a range of discharge sizes from 0.05cc TO 0.50cc & can be fitted with a micro-switch, fast cycling reed or proximity switches or a visual indicator pin for cycle monitoring. Pumps can be manual, hydraulic, pneumatic or electrically operated. They can also be operated via a grease gun as an alternative to a grouped nipple system. Each divider element has 2 outlets which discharge in sequence with the other elements in the block. A special feature of the DPA dividers is the ability to convert simply from double to single outlets by removing the separation dowel & plugging the unwanted outlet as shown below. This considerably improves the flexibility of the system. It can be operated at pressures up to 300 BAR & can be operated at 300 cycles per minute. 9 Over Pressure Indicators for DPA Distributors. When the pressure in a line becomes excessive the pin moves out, on the stick type the pin moves in when the pressure relieves. With the memory type the pin remains out until the reset lever is activated after the fault has been located & rectified. 13 Single Line Grease System Single line piston distributors for fluid grease grades NGLI 000, 00, 0. The distributors meter and distribute the lubricant from the pump to the individual lubrication points. Interchangeable metering nipples make it possible to adapt the amount of lubricant to each friction point. Lubricant is only delivered under spring pressure after the end of the pump operation, i.e. After the pump pressure is relieved. A collar (changeover valve) in the distributor closes the outlet to the to the lubrication port during the delivery stroke, thus storing the lubricant beneath the piston. The changeover valve opens the outlet as soon as the pressure drops in the main line. Piston distributors are supplied with the metering nipples fitted. When ordering distributors, please quote the desired metered quantities (0.1; 0.2; 0.4cc) in the respective positions. The AX pump is a self contained automatic, electrically driven pump unit with a maximum of 24 outlets in a choice of 110v/240 volt rating. A geared synchronous motor is connected to a camshaft, mechanically activating a series of pumping units. A rotating impeller ensures a flow of lubricant to these pump units. An integral PCB controls the time delay period.
