What's more, the new F25C outperforms the traditional Yamaha 25-horsepower two stroke! That makes it the perfect power for a 14- to 16-foot aluminum boats and so many other craft. (Testing conducted by Yamaha at Yamaha s US Test Facility on a G3 Model 1448 under heavy load conditions.) NEW F25C Yamaha 25 Two-Stroke ACCELERATION: F25C vs. F25B DISTANCE (FEET) TIME (SEC.) As you would expect, the F25C out accelerates it predecessor, the F25B. But there s more; it s not only quicker, it s faster. The F25C beats the F25B in every measure. 3 BATTERY-LESS EFI The F25's electronic fuel injection system operates without a battery, thus reducing weight in the boat. If you want to go light, you can. (A battery is required for electric-start capability.) EFI also means smoother running and greater fuel efficiency than in the former F25. Yamaha's battery-less system was designed to require minimal effort for manual starting. HIGH-OUTPUT ALTERNATOR The F25 features an alternator that produces up to 16 amps of power. That's 14 percent more output than before. There is plenty of electrical power for battery charging and more left to spare. Variable trolling RPM range adjustment (every 50 r/min) Idling speed F25C F25B DN RPM DOWN UP Variable trolling switch UP Engine Speed (r/min) VARIABLE TROLLING RPM: Controlled by Multi-Function Tiller Handle or through the Command Link display, the operator can adjust the engine's trolling speed from 750 to 1050 rpm in 50 rpm increments, which helps to provide precise and consistent trolling speeds in an array of conditions.
